Where have all the shows gone?

"Till The Casket Drops, Till my dying day, Till my heartbeat stops, Till my legs just break"

We have come into a sort of dry spell as we are approaching the summer months. Most of the shows we watch regularly have concluded with banging season finales and we are left with a void in our hearts, as we crave to find out, what happens next. It really does suck that when we do have time to watch and keep up with our shows, they go on hiatus.
But vever fear, Pretty Little Liars is here... Well at least their set to return in just 11 days!!!! (Can June 5th come any sooner). The puzzles are just getting more complex and harder to solve as we frantically search for the mysterious A. Check out this steamy (and creepy) summer premiere clip as we wait with anticipation to see how Mona moves the story along, what "more" to the story Garett is referring to and drool as Ezra, Toby and Caleb roam around shirtless.... (a girl can dream right?)

In other news, this blog is now in your hands. I am out of shows for the summer so feel free to comment with any ideas as to what I should review weekly. I am open for any recommendations. Otherwise, I might just update and review some music festivals (since those are a big hit in the summer). Also, if you know of any great shows coming to the screens let me know as well since rumor has it that Ringer has not been picked up for another season and The Secret Circle is moving to ABC Family. Stay cool and hydrated folks! Its going to be a sizzling summer!!!

Revenge- Retribution

"Has getting retribution ever made you feel better about yourself?"

Sometimes retribution isn't all its cracked out to be and sometimes can lead to disastrous results. Unless you know how to outsmart the villain, retribution can leave you confused and hopeless. Revenge is not something that one can attain easily. With revenge comes dedication and in order to get that revenge you have to be willing to give up everything.

What a bloody season finale, featuring shocking twists and what seems like heroes and villains on steroids, or cocaine (whatever's classier). Its glorious to watch how the mighty have fallen, a takedown of the 1% if you will.  In her best efforts, Victoria attempted to do the right thing and come clean about the David Clarke terrorist attacks after she found out that Conrad ordered David's murder. Although her efforts failed miserably, her defeat was noble and firm. She got on that plane, knowing that it might be her last, proudly and with no hesitation. It was proof that she really did love this man. The domino affect took place after her death. Charlotte did everything in her power to redeem her image at school and hurt Declan and his new "girlfriend." And by do everything in her power I mean handle the situation just as her mother would. As her plan back fired she realized that at the moment she lost everything, she had no one to turn to. She pushed away the only person that ever cared about her. This caused her to overdoes on drugs, while Conrad drank away his problems realizing that the only two women he ever loved in his life just blew up on a tragic plane accident. Sometimes, we really cannot avoid repetitive history. It really is painful to see that the day Daniel and Charlotte lost their mother, no one was really on good terms. Now all they have left is Conrad and it seems that he has limited time with all the leftover evidence that Emily will make sure gets put to good use.

All this could have been avoided if Emily just gave up her morals. To honor her father, she had to stay true to herself. Even though killing that white haired snake would incriminate the Grayson's, save Victoria and put an end to all of this, that just wasn't the way out. It would have also meant that they would have thought they finished something that goes deeper and way beyond what we have come to grasp in just one season. Conrad Grayson is not the only person to blame for the terrorism schemes and the innocent, accidental death's. It goes way beyond him actually, as it involves the airline covering up the conspiracy's. And with that realization we find out that Emily's (Amanda's) real mother is still alive. Could it be possible that she was behind everything? Or that she played a huge role in the terrorism conspiracies? What is her story??? This new twist will make for an interesting angle on season 2. One of the sweetest things to see is that all her actions are real and they come from the heart. Her father was the best man in the world and she does everything out of love for him. As a girl who could kick a crazy albino man's ass, she still has the power to be weak and vulnerable, even lost. Its a blessing that she has an awesome and caring sidekick like Nolan. Although he's not really good for any fighting, he's definitely good as someone who needs to be there to hold her together.

No show can ever avoid any couple drama. Things are really looking bleak for the Grayson family. As the other snake (Ashley) spilled the beans to Daniel that his fiance kissed another man, it ultimately led Emily to make the biggest (and best) decision of her life. As she broke up the engagement, it seemed that her chances with Jack were becoming greater and greater. But remember how I wrote about loosing things that are precious and valuable when you consume yourself with the idea of getting revenge. Well yeah, that happened. Amanda (the fake one) returned, with the worst timing ever, and revealed that she was pregnant with Jack's baby. I'm sure everyone is just as ecstatic as she was. My only concern is that we need proof this is Jack's baby. She wasn't the most innocent girl, if you know what I mean. Whose to say that baby doesn't belong to any other guy she encountered in her time away. Really, her timing sucked. Emily was ready to tell Jack the whole truth and tell him that she was really Amanda and that she loved him! I wonder how Jack will react when he finds out that Emily's engagement is off. Anyways, while Emily is soaking up the fact that her mother is still alive, Victoria (the bitch who was so thrilled her wedding was off) is dead and that she lost both Jack and Daniel in the same day, Daniel is scheming it up with Ashley. The vibes I was getting from them seemed to me that she will be the comfort that Daniel will need surrounding his breakup with Emily and when he finds out his mother is dead.

Memorable Quotes

  • Emily: In every life comes a day of reckoning. A time when unsettled scores demand their retribution and our own lives and transgressions are finally laid bare.
  • Emily: I could be lying.
    • Nolan: She's really quite good at it.
  • White Man: Your father didn't know what hit him did he?
    • Emily: Tick Tock.
  • Daniel: You'd think a million dollars would trump anyones sense of self righteousness.
  • Emily: You're changing too. I'm watching you become a person you never wanted to be.
    • Daniel: And whats that?
    • Emily: A Grayson.
  • Emily: Champagne does not seem appropriate at 9 a.m.
    • Nolan: Champagne is always appropriate.
  • Declan: You really are your mothers daughter.
  • Agent: It appears your husband didn't just frame David Clarke, he also constructed to have him killed.

Revenge- Grief

"But grief is a merciless master. Just when you think you're free you realize you never stood a chance."

With just one episode left until the epic season finale, we are left wondering what the hell is Emily Thorne going to do??? There are five stages in grief, but what happens when you cannot simply just accept?? Just sit back and watch the people get away with a crime that literally ruined your life. After a season of seeking revenge with the people that led to her fathers death, has she begun getting second thoughts? Is this really the life she wants to pursue??

Emily's feelings for Jack Porter surfaced on this weeks episode,"Grief." Unfortunately, a tragedy like the loss of her childhood dog Sammie had to occur for Emily to come to her senses. I am distraught with the writers that they killed off the beloved Sammie as I thought he would live forever, but I guess it was necessary for Emily to realize that she only has one life to live and she might just be wasting her youth trying to find some kind of closure with these monsters. Although revenge and grief are powerful emotions that can lead a person to destruction, it seems that matters of the heart are a bit stronger and have a power none of us can control. might be more important. Getting the revenge Emily planned might mean she looses Jack forever. Worst case scenario she looses herself. And amidst all the emotions between these two today, it leaves me wondering if Jack has any idea who Emily really is. After all, there is something between them that they cannot avoid. The things that complicate everything for Emily are feelings; and those are unavoidable.

As episode revealed more and more, we were left wondering who the hell would want to become part of the Grayson family? Well besides Ashley, who has completely turned her back on Emily in her strive for money and success. Her and Daniel would make a brilliant couple as she possess so many characteristics of Victoria and Daniels latest actions have proved that he is just like his father.  Daniel will do everything to protect his family and as he gets more involved with the David Clarke conspiracy, he becomes a bigger target for Emily. Previously she has used him as a pawn in her scheme, but he is getting very involved. And as messed up as the parents are, we see that the affect is much worse on the children. Poor Charlotte is going down the wrong road completely. First, she pushes Declan away. Than when she comes back she expects him to be there for her, forgive her and welcome her back with open arms. You give what you get Charlotte. And although Declan wasn't doing anything wrong, the guy deserves a girl thats sane and normal, not a girl that gets stoned and high every time something in her life goes wrong.

Nolan is an outstanding guy, who just so happened to catch a bit of bad luck. He has given up his life to help Emily get redemption, but he also makes sure that she doesn't do anything to crazy. He saved her from making the biggest mistake of her life in this weeks episode, but it ended up costing him a lot. Up until now there wasn't really a person that could outsmart Nolan, but unfortunately the man that was hired by Conrad Grayson to kill Emily's father is one step ahead of him. It's no surprise, he is technically the number one assassin in the hampton's. Is it Emily's turn to prove herself as a friend to Nolan and save him the way he always saves her. Will this be the event that exposes Emily as Amanda.

No matter how hard the Grayson's try to cover up what happened in the David Clarke trials, its only a matter of time until it comes out. Maybe the best way for Emily to take down the family is to expose the tapes that are in the briefcase and break up with Daniel. Or maybe she can just walk away and let the damage work itself, sit back and watch..  I mean when spouses are willing to out each other, thats when it becomes a problem. My only question is with Victoria. If she outs Conrad, she outs herself right??? Is it really killing her inside so much that she wants to jeopardize her life as well?? A breath-taking season finale awaits us next week folks!!!

Gossip Girl- The Return of the Ring

"What did I say about the chips falling where they may? See you next fall."

Last night's season finale of Gossip Girl was rather unpredictable and definitely not expected. The characters went through major transformations, which made the time span of the episode feel like it was a whole month rather than 45 minutes. Nonetheless, I will say this was one of the weakest season finales thus far.

Lets start off by reactions to the return of Bart Bass. Chuck went through so much pain, turmoil and depression when he lost his father in earlier seasons. Once he found out his father was really alive he did everything in his power to help him and make them a family again.  He envisioned a partnership with his father, as he felt he did a good job keeping Bass Industries afloat while Bart was away. As much as we wanted to believe that Bart had changed, we were all in for a horrible surprise.  As he took back the company as a sole owner, he threw Chuck to the curb claiming that Chuck was not yet a man and was blindly led down a destructive rode by the one and only Blair Waldorf, whom conveniently decided that she was going to pick Chuck to be the love of her life. At first it seemed that Bart was trying to make amends with Lily and wanted his son to finally fight for the woman of his dreams. That was not the case at all and in fact,  Lily was also deceived by Bart, whom promised he changed and wanted to make things better. As he manipulated her, she annulled her marriage to Rufus. That might have been the biggest shocker of the finale! Of all the couples, Rufus and Lily really seemed to be the perfect couple. But you know those Van der woodsen girls, a whiff of money and their gone.

After Dan Humphrey got caught in a feud between S and B that resulted in him getting stood up and ditched for Chuck by Blair and seduced for vengeance by his ex Serena, he finally made the realization that the Upper East Side is not for him. In an interesting turn of events Dan decided to team up with the oh-so-evil Georgina and fly to Italy to find inspiration for his new novel; a story about the UPE, the way it should have been told before he got sucked into everything. Maybe a new (errr return) to a relationship??? After all, they did have a baby together briefly.

Serena is down a disastrous path as she lost the power she held in the UPE and retorted back to her previous bad habits. The writers did a lot of reigning back to the first season in this finale. First, the sex scene with Humphrey (a la Nate Archibald wedding style). Second, they sent Serena back to her easy and crack-whore days. Things are not looking to good for Ms. Van der Woodsen. She lost all friends, family and boys. While everyone was off trying to create a future for themselves, she got so caught up in the game that she ultimately lost herself. Thats why I respect Blair so much, as much as she plays the game, she always ends up on top.

It seems that Nate is finally going to get a decent story line. As he is settling down with the sane part of Serena's family, Lola, he is also digging deeper into the actual identity of Gossip Girl. From the video he received from Diana Payne it seems that Gossip Girl might not be a girl at all. But it seems thats to be the suspense to keep us anticipating the next season. Speaking of Lola, although she is totally sane she does seem to have that mischievous, conniving bone in her body. After finding out that Lily was in fact behind the lawyers for her mother, she gave up all her money to the "fake" Charlie Rhodes so that she could finally bring Lily down. Family money spent to ruin the family. At least Lola is saving herself from the corrupt lifestyle and sending in someone who already had a taste of that lifestyle.

As always, the most unnerving and pretty annoying part of the finale definitely was focused on the Blair and Chuck relationship. Although it was exciting to find out who Blair would pick it was so aggravating that once again, the minute she let him know how she felt, he wanted no part of the relationship. Can't hide my excitement though, Dan and Blair were suffocating me. Having her finally be true to her feelings and fight for the man she loves is refreshing. They really do need to get on the same cycle already. Maybe a summer in a foreign city while Chuck schemes with Jack and Blair builds her company carrying on the Waldorf family fashion line will finally make them realize that they could have the perfect life if they only wanted too. Till next fall ladies and gents!

Memorable Quotes

  • Gossip Girl: Good morning Upper East Side, how do you look today? You know image is everything. But under those perfect clothes and perfect smiles, everyone has their not so perfect secrets. Lucky for me nothing can stay hidden forever whether the truths a diary or the daily news. Once its out it'll change everything.
  • Dorota: Every damning thing since grade school is a lot of damning.
  • GG: Guess we just answered whose in Blairs heart. Question is, is here room for two?
  • GG: Thats the problem with hired help, they'll work for anyone.
  • Blair: You said I always bet against you but this time I'm all in.

The Vampire Diaries- The Departed

"You want love that consumes you. You want passion and adventure and even a little danger."

The day has finally come, Elena Gilbert is a vampire. In a shocking season finale, which felt more like the end of Vampire Diaries forever, each characters life was changed forever. Aided along by flashbacks from Elena's sophomore year, we as an audience were allowed to understand a little bit of what drives the characters into being the people that they are now. It was in fact tragic to see how simple life once was for Elena, Matt, Tyler, Caroline and Bonnie, and how difficult it is for them to even know what normal feels like.

Klaus has said it before and he has proved it now- he is indestructable. With Bonnie's help (shocking that she did something out of her own free will), Klaus made sure that when Alaric killed him, he would take over Tyler's body. This spell helped save not only Klaus, but every other vampire on the show (since they all descend from Klaus). The question is, did Damon have any idea what Bonnie was up towhen he left her alone with Klaus?? Probably not. Either way Klaus's death brought on so many other events in Mystic Falls it is hard to keep up. The question of whom Caroline is going to end up with remains a mystery. Caroline and Tyler delivered an outstanding performance as they professed their love to each other and than were forced to say their goodbyes. But now both Caroline's "lovers" have been smashed into one body, which might make it weird for her at times.

In last weeks episode, Elena hit her head pretty hard when she was breaking free from Klaus's control. This resulted in her loosing consciousness and Jeremy brining her to Dr. Fell, whom diagnosed Elena with a hemorrhaging in her brain. In order to save Elena, she fed her vampire blood, ultimately leading to Elena's transistion. The writers sure pulled one on me. Whenever I thought about how Elena would turn I always thought it would be because of her love for one of the Salvatore brothers. In this case, it was her only option. She technically could have avoided the repercussions by avoiding death, but come on we are talking about TVD here.

As soon as Elijah and Rebekah realized that no one else, besides Tyler, was dying they decided to take matters into their own hands.  To get their revenge for the death of their beloved brother they turned on their deal with Stefan. In order to kill Alaric, they had to kill Elena. As Matt swerved to avoid hitting Rebekah he lost control and their car dove off the bridge and into the water. The scenario was literally a play-by-play of the tragic day Elena lost her parents. As she saw flashbacks of that night, she forced Stefan to save Matt instead of her. It was an interesting angle the writers took as they showed us that history is doomed to repeat itself, and shined a light on Stefan as the hero for us, once again. Sadly, Elena's bravery resulted in death. The girl really has a tough life. First, she lives a life where she is in danger 24/7. Plus, she has also had her share of tragic life occurences. If that isn't enough she now has to re-live those events. It was just painful to watch. Although in all honesty, everything bad that happened in this episode could be blamed on Matt and Jeremy. As the two humans on the show, they tried to do go but got stuck screwing everything up.

In between all the chaos, Damon was isolated as he was fighting Alaric to the death.  When it seemed like all hope was lost for Damon, he had a flashback that pertained to the conversation he just had with Elena. As fans waited for Elena to make her choice between the Salvatore brothers, I am inclined to say that I was not satisfied with her choice. Elena only picked Stefan because she "met him first," he was the one that saved her family from the drowning car. It seems like she feels like she owes him. But really, the twist came when Damon's memory revealed that on that same night as she was waiting for her parents to pick her up and was distraught about her unknown future with Matt, she ran into a sexy stranger by the name of Damon, who compelled her to forget and get everything she ever wants out of life. That memory ultimately gave Damon the strength to overcome Alaric, right before he fell to the ground dead. The thing is that Damon is not as bad as we think he is. Through everything he has kept that meeting a secret so that Elena and Stefan can be together. She is what drives him.

Ric was literally a loved character. Even in his dark vampire huntsman days, he always looked out for Elena. When he died, Damon obviously realized that meant Elena died as well. His goodbye to Jeremy was heart wrenching but only because he was such a strong father figure for the two, and his goodbye meant the loss of Elena. At this point in time, everyone was unaware that Elena was transitioning so when they all saw Alaric die, they all assumed Elena was gone for good. That obviously cannot happen but her new vampire life raises so many questions for season 4. Now that Elena is a vampire, who is she going to pick. She is clearly going to remember meeting Damon first. Is she going to enjoy being a vampire? Since she never had a baby does that mean she ended the lineage of dopplegangers??? Are the dopplegangers even necessary since Klaus is now dead? Will he ever get his body back? He will sure as hell be mad that he cannot use Elena's blood to create more of his minions. Will Tyler survive? Will Matt survive? Did Elena know Dr. Fell gave her blood and when she fell in she knew she would turn into a vampire? What about the whole town of Mystic Falls? Will they forget that Caroline and Tyler are vampires? Oh the anticipation. This is the beginning of a whole new era for The Vampire Diaries, but I am glad they finally tied it back in to the doppleganger.

Memorable Quotes

  • Elena: I have to let one of them go.
    • Matt: Which one?
  • Damon: I'm not halfway out of Virginia and Elena sells our souls to the originals.
  • Damon: You know whats her call. Everything bad ever!
  • Stefan: That's just in case there is not later.
  • Damon: Grabbed her, gagged her, threw her in a well. I don't know anything rather than let her trust Elijah.
  • Stefan: Not us brother, you and Elena.
  • Damon: I want you to get everything your looking for but right now I want you to forget this happened. Can't let people know I'm in town yet.

Gossip Girl- The Fugitives

Last nights Gossip Girl was the return of many characters, including Bart Bass. Blair finally found herself as she juggled being loyal to Dan and being a good friend to Chuck. Chuck saved his father and Serena and Dan proved that they once again what it has to be a couple. Oh and Charlie Rhodes and Lola teamed up on a prostitution mission.

To put it blatantly, the Bart Bass story came out of nowhere and ended rather quickly. The plan that Chuck orchestrated seemed very simple. Much less complicated than what Bart was doing. Why a trio like Bart, Jack and Diana didn't think of it is beyond me. Plus the whole someone tried to kill me ordeal seemed a little desperate and the fact that Chuck would jump at the chance to save his father after everything he has put him through was also kind of shocking. What happened to the doubt if he really was his father??? But on the plus side, Chuck finally has his father back and he isn't alone. I wonder what Lily's reaction will be when she finds out her ex husband is really alive. Conveniently, her relationship with Rufus is on the rocks as well now, so who knows maybe she will rekindle her love with Bart. After all, Lily never stays with one person for too long.

As much as the writers want us to love Blair and Dan as a couple, I just don't. Sure, he is sweet and romantic and thoughtful, but they don't have that spark that Chuck and Blair do. As a couple, Serena and Dan work much better. Blair seems to be convinced that Serena has accepted that she and lonely boy are together and she has everyone convinced she's in love with lonely boy, but with the return of Gossip Girl herself, we might just learn otherwise. Maybe the reason she chose to help Chuck in his times of need, the reasons she was so hesitant about going on a whole year trip to Italy with Dan, and her inability to tell him  'I love you' is because she still really wants Chuck. Hopefully.

So I guess this was the last we were going to see of Diana. Amidst her many lies, Nate decided to spare her reputation and not out her to the editor of the New York Times. Seems like that relationship between him and Diana was real on some level. As for Lola, she really doesn't seem to have a story line. She is thrown into every scenario as some kind of decoy, which makes her the perfect partner for useless Nate. Even when they try to do something right they do more damage. What do you guys think the finale will focus on? Will the writers give us more than a conclusion of rekindled loves? The previews show Serena and Dan doing the naughty in the same way she did it with Nate (Blairs bf at the time) in season 1 and Blair admitting that she loves Chuck. Although I am all for these relationships, I would like to be served something with a little bit more, depth. The lack of storylines lately indicates that Gossip Girl is coming to an end, quickly.

The Vampire Diaries- Before the Sunset

"Well maybe real love is stronger than fake loyalty, but what would you know about that?"

With only one episode left, that being the season finale, The Vampire Diaries is turning up the heat and the drama to a whole new level. The breath taking episode gave us a glimpse into next weeks deadly season finale and offered up a plot so intricate and messed up, it was hard to turn away from the screen.

For starters, hell yeah team Tyler. As someone who is strong enough to break the sire bond to Klaus, he stood up to him in the most kick-ass way possible. Tyler is not someone that usually saves Elena's life; those duties are left for Damon and Stefan, but in the time of need Tyler stepped up to the plate, defending his girlfriends honor in the process. Although Elena does deserve some credit. Her bravery saved tons of lives tonight and for the first time ever, she didn't rely on a Salvatore brother for help/  Tyler's brave move ultimately meant the destruction of Klaus... for now. Should the Salvatore brothers be so quick to throw his body in the ocean or even leave little miss doppleganger at home by herself? Of course not!!!!! Elena might be eligible to party and celebrate the fact that being one of the only humans placed in dangerous situations every episode, she holds so much leverage and has still somehow managed to come out alive. The sad truth of the episode was defined by Klaus's actions. For a split second it seemed that Klaus could actually be a normal human worthy of respect and maybe even love. But who can blame Caroline (or everyone for that matter) for hating him when he turns his back on his family and drains Elena of blood for his own satisfaction. There is a reason he has to go to such extreme lengths to have a "family."

Alright so after my I hate Klaus rant, the fact is Klaus is dead. Now how do we stop Alaric, who is on a massive mission to rid the world of all vampires. We are sure that he won't hurt Elena... again for now, but what about everyone else? He already has the whole council working with him and there is only so much they can all do against someone as powerful as Alaric. Plus, he doesn't want to live. After he kills all the vampires, he will definitely want to kill himself, being that he is also a vampire. That means he's going to have to kill Elena. The only way that I think they could eliminate Alaric is if Elena turned into a vampire. This idea could go both ways unfortunately. Either Elena's death (and transition) would kill Alaric, or it wouldn't affect Alaric and he would just want to kill Elena anyways cause she's a vampire. God, moral of the story is no one ever wins. We have achieved the one goal that kept these past 3 seasons going; we killed Klaus. But now what?

The show also included those desired sentimental moments in between the rage and chaos. It was hilarious watching Damon and Klaus duke it out as Klaus attempted to enter the house. It was also sweet to see the tight bond between Damon and Stefan. As much as Klaus has tried to break that, it seems to have gotten stronger. Although Elena cannot seem to decide between the two, mainly because she is scared to loose more people, the two are playing nice with each other, even offering to leave town when she finally does make her decision. As for Caroline and Tyler, their a power couple. Unfortunately, they are the towns next targets now that half of Mystic Falls knows what they really are. Lastly, as crappy as Jeremy acted towards Bonnie, their feelings are still strong. When she thought she messed up the spell and killed Jeremy, you could tell that no matter what, he would always have a place in her heart. Lastly, Jeremy's brotherly love towards Elena is precious and genuine as he sacrificed his life to help save hers. Sure he has the ring, but as we know that ring could be more deadly than death itself. As much as Alaric can try to convince Elena of being no better than the vampires, truth is everyone she loves has become a victim and been turned into a vampire, simply because they wanted to protect her. Her family consists of the supernatural. And after it seemed like everything was going smoothly, what the hell happened at the end? Fasten your seat belts folks, next weeks finale is about to take us one hell of a ride.

  • Damon: I forgot about her steller track record in the dependability department.

    • Damon: Yes, she is.

Gossip Girl- Raiders of the Lost Art

"It takes a special level of crazy to go to those extents to keep your secret."

Bass-hole!! And this time I'm not talking about Chuck. This weeks episode brought back the original magic of Gossip Girl as Lola, Serena, Nate, Chuck and Blair teamed up to help Chuck find out who his father is and take down Diana Payne along the way, while bringing back the real Gossip Girl. With lonely boy alone in Brooklyn it seems like everything fell into place.

What none of us saw coming was the epic jaw dropper at the end. Bart Bass is alive. After all the torture that Chuck put himself through after his fathers death. All the time he spent looking for Elizabeth. All the lies and all the deception. Although his attempt at finding out if Jack was his father, or if Elizabeth was his mother, he found out something much more scandalous. You know what they say, don't go looking for things you don't want to find. Yet, as with every revelation we begin to ask questions. Why did Bart Bass fake his own death? Why did he lie to his son? Why is Diana Payne in all of the Bass family secrets?? Why did she lie and pretend to be Chuck's mother? What was the boat coming for? What the hell is going on. And all of this to happen at one of the most convenient places for the Bass family; a sex house.

I cannot help but smile at the fact that slowly and surely Blair and Chuck are going back to each other. They have this magnetic field that pulls them together no matter how hard they pull apart. Thats not too say that it wasn't heartwarming to watch lonely boy pull his hair out at the sight of Queen B and Chuck together. Dan loves her, its a fact, but theres something about the chemistry between Blair and Chuck that has been missing for awhile. Even in the given circumstances Blair sticks by Chuck's side and is there for him when he needs it most. Chair fans were even in for a treat with some kinky jokes between the couple. Truthfully, Dan kind of screwed himself over by rejecting the offer to Italy. His love for Blair, who unfortunately didn't say I love you back, has been taken to a whole new level. It is a possibility that by leaving for the summer he risks loosing Blair to Chuck, but whats meant to be will be, that's definitely no reason to jeopardize ones future.

Saving team Serena was also something that had to be done. In the past episodes Serena has kind of become the ugly duck that isolated herself from everyone. It even went as far as almost betraying her friends because of the obsession she has with Gossip Girl. It probably isn't a pleasant feeling getting tricked by your half sister and ex-bf (who is dating your newly acquired half-sis) but they really saved her from herself. Order has been restored on the Upper East Side and truthfully speaking, Serena just didn't do the sight justice. But I bet that Nate and Lola will bite themselves in the tongue when news of Bart's resurrection gets out and they won't be able to prevent Gossip Girl from spilling the beans. Another thing to consider, before outing Diana Payne as the organizer of a brothel, Nate might want to check with Chuck if running the story is ok. A lot of press might not be too good around such a big secret.

After all is said and done, many props have to be given to Dorota. As a character who is seen briefly on each episode she always has the wittiest lines and is a pro at executing missions for Blair. Whether its getting locked in a closet on Blairs wedding, her brilliant massage therapy session with Diana or giving Serena advice to go to Best Buy and get a new lap top, Dorota's character really doesn't get enough recognition. Only two more episodes till the season finale and there is a lot of explaining to be done!
