The Secret Circle- Masked

“Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live”

Its Halloweeen! I absolutely adore Halloween episodes. Not like the show isn’t Halloween spirited all year around, but things are always just so much creepier when they happen on Oct 31.
Jake cannot be trusted. That blonde hair and that cute little smile is deceiving and Cassie should stop being such a blonde and realize it. He is somehow always around when something goes down, she was onto him at first and snuck into his room, found the knives with the witch hunter symbol, so why does she not put two and five togheter? He is bad news. Stop telling him everything. Once you’ve closed that door on him and told him you don’t trust him, don’t open it back up again.
For being a big bitch that no one likes, Faye is actually kind of pathetic. She can’t seem to move on from Jake who has obviously proved to her that he does not like her and yet she keeps throwing herself at him. Then she gets jealous of Cassie when there is obviously nothing romantic about those two just yet. But from promo’s it seems like Cassie and Jake are going to be heating up. What does this mean for Cassie and Fayes um friendship? What about Adam? He lost Diana because she wants him to be with Cassie so you would think they would try it out. Now Cassie is just going to crush Adam with her feelings for Jake. I know I know they need to create drama and a story and they need to make us long for Cassie and Adam to be together the same way we long for Elena and Damon!
Poor Adam though. Putting all that witchy myth stuff aside he really was in love with Diana. Although he didn’t show it all the time he really is hurting and he does want her back. He negates those feelings though when he is in a room with Cassie alone and explains that there’s something between them. You can only have one Adam, just one! Are they really meant to be or is that just a myth his dad keeps telling him? How would that even work?
Luke was a witch hunter too? I did not see that coming. So that’s why every guy fawns over Cassie. They don’t want to be with her they want to kill her. But now we learn that she has dark magic inside of her. Is this because of her dad? Who was her dad and what was Calvin the storeowner getting at when he went to talk to Adams dad? He said she has a right to know who her father was to protect herself? Maybe the magic isn’t all that bad if it allowed her to save all of her friends without any of their help. If it’s self-defense it technically isn’t a crime or a sin right? I also wonder what did Calvin leave in Cassie mailbox before Jake killed him (also showing us that nothing will stand in Jakes way). I kind of miss Nick when I see Jake living in his house. I wonder if there was more to Calvin then just this episode? It’s pretty stupid to introduce a character to deliver a package and then kill him off.

Melissa wasn’t really a part of this episode. She’s still sulking after Nick’s death which is understandable but I think they need to find her a hobby. Or maybe she and Diana can have a girl’s night and talk about how much love sucks cause that’s where they both seem to be headed. I’m pretty worried about Cassie’s grandma. She found the elder witch dead on the floor and the got knocked out by some unknown figure hiding in the house obviously waiting for her to reveal where the crystal was hiding. I am going to take a wild guess and assume it’s Diana’s dad?? I feel kind of bad for Diana. She’s such a good-hearted person and her dad is this big asshole that will kill anyone or anything that stands in his way of getting his magic back. Maybe there’s a reason you don’t have it anymore Charles! Anger management and magic probably do not have the best side affects. Everyone knows witchy grandmothers are the ultimate power. You can’t mess around with that!

Memorable Quotes
-Cassie: Halloween is a night to pretend you’re someone else.
-Faye: Sluttier versions of someone else but I guess your right.
-Jake: I’m nothing like the rest of you. Trust me.
-Faye: Aww forbidden love so adorable!
-Jake: I have their blood set it on fire. They die and their magic dies with them.
-Calvin: It’s hard to tell with kids, never know which parent they’ll favor.
-Jake: Halloweens for kids I’m just here for the beer.
-Jake: Maybe you just always thought there was more there when there wasn’t.
-Jake: you think people can change who they are?
         -Calvin: Of course.
         -Jake: I don’t.
-Lucas: You bleed just like us but your not.
-Luke: You’re not the only one born into a legacy. At least I can be proud of mine.
-Luke: I’m freeing you from a life of sin.
-Diana: You cant loose something you never had.

The Vampire Diaries- Ghost World

"And like the rest of their secrets they kept it buried"

The night of illumination occurred at Mystic Falls tonight but it was also a night of deaths, ghosts coming back to finish what they started, and hope... maybe. Mystic Falls welcomed back Anna, Mason Lockwood,  Pearl, Lexi, and Bonnies grandma!!!! Ghosts and supernatural beings galore. Do normal people still exist in Mystic Falls besides Matt. I literally blame all of tonights mayhem on Matt. Damn human.
Jeremy is an asshole. Guys are all the same. After he was able to touch Anna again he ended up kissing her in the bathroom and professing his love to her claiming she was the only girl he loved. Low blow to your girlfriend huh? I'm not quite sure Anna was even there for the right reasons I mean she did say she didn't want to be alone and came back hoping to reconnect with her mother. Plus she's just a shady little ghost! She stole the necklace and allowed all those tomb vampires to wreck havoc on the town. Not cool. Mayor Lockwood almost died because of her! Then after she was sent back to the other side Jeremy has the nerve to try to explain things to Bonnie. Psh. She set him straight right away and with good reason! Go Bonnie!!!
Elena is continuing her mission to save Stefan. After plotting to find Lexi, Lexi walked right into her arms. Knocking Stefan out and locking him in the dungeon she sucked out his blood and made him suffer. It didn't seem to be working very well because after his "I Love You" plee to Elena didn't work he went straight back to rippah Stefan. Elena admitted she wasnt giving up hope even after a glimpse into her gloom and doom future with him but she did finally stand her ground. She didn't give in to his plea's but rather walked away to be with the people that actually love her and want her around leaving Stefan to drown in his pain.
After being tortured by Mason in return for brutally ripping his heart out Damon and Mason embarked on a journey together where Damon learned the meaning of trust and realized that no matter what the situation is sometimes it's not worth holding a grudge. Sure Mason wanted to save Tyler from heading down the same grim road as he did but it was cute to watch. Even with stakes pierced through his body Damon never skips a beat with his comical lines. This led to Damon and Alaric forgiving each other and finding some random hieroglyphics from the past that could potential hold all the answers they need. Score!
Other thoughts
-Where was Tyler this episode? Was he frolicking around the forest with Rebekah? I'm surprised Caroline wasn't the least bit concerned about her boyfriends whereabouts.
-Is Katerina really dead? That would be a shame. I really grew a liking towards her.
-Since the spell didn't work on the necklace because it somehow pieced itself back together what does that mean for the other side? Did the door close or are they still going to be coming in and out of people's lives?
-Also, since the necklace still exists is that some symbol for hope. Is Stefan going to find his way out of this? Does he even love Elena anymore?
-I can't wait to see what part Michael has to play in all of this. That story wasn't really hashed out too much in this episode.
-I still believe Elena should call it a day and put her energy towards something more worthy, like Damon. She criticized Jeremy that he cant be in love with a ghost forever but how is it fair  that she can be in love with a vampire forever? Same general idea sweetie.
-Mystic Falls has way to many founder day events. Theres one like every week. Do people seriously attend them every time???

Memorable Quotes

  • Anna: Its just a bunch of historical lies.
  • Damon: Cause he chained me to a chair and stuck a metal rod in me, lets just say im having deja vu.
  • Damon: When I kill someone their suppose to stay dead. FIX IT.
  • Caroline: Please tell me that's a recipe for witch cookies.
  • Stefan: Who forgot to invite me to the family summit?
  • Anna: I'm only here cause you wanna be with me as much as I wanna be with you.
  • Bonnies Gma: Witches talk even on the other side, who do you think makes all the rules?
  • Elena: You need to disapear or evaporate or whatever ghosts do.
  • Ric: Are you incapable of remorse, just apologize!
  • Lexi: I'm doing what I do best sweetie, I'm saving your life.
  • Mason: I'm a ghost, not God.
  • Lexi: The necklace represented hope.
    • Stefan: Ironic that its about to get blown to pieces.
  • Elena: I wont love a ghost for the rest of my life.
  • Damon: You gunna bury me alive?
    • Mason: Don't tempt me..

Gossip Girl- The Fasting and the Furious

"Since you lie like most people breathe your oath means very little"

Holy Moly Gossip Girl! Last night's episode definitely showed us a new side of Yom Kippur.
Blair was battling her soon to be mother in law and sister in law with an absurd legal contract about how to raise her child with Louie. Her sister in law was meddling with Diana and selling stories about the royal family. I have become a little annoyed with Blair and the lack of backbone she has to her "royals" this season. You're Blair Waldorf girl! Your life belongs on the Upper East Side. And that baby might not belong to the Prince of Monaco but it belongs to The Prince of the Upper East Side- Chuck Bass and thats a story I hope we reach very soon (after Blair goes through bridesmaid bootcamp though cause thats just going to be a hoot). After Louie found the letter with the real results of the pregnancy I'm sure a scandal is just waiting to blow up in everyone's face. Will he go back to his family? Have the finally convinced him that Blair cannot be trusted?
Speaking of, I smell a feud start between Diana's new poser Gossip Girl sight and GG herself. She's already onto her. You can't call yourself a NYSpectator when Gossip Girl has wind of your schemes before they even go viral. And Charlie is really just shooting herself in the foot. You shut up your fake mother, you are living the life you wanted with people who are accepting you for the fake you, and your going to backstab them and leak stories about their life? As a girl who is trying to find her place on the Upper East Side you have got to find a way to come up with a better scheme than that.
Serena, Serena, Serena. Deceiving, Self- Centered, Serena. I have missed you. After being sabotaged by her boss to get the movie right's to Dan's book she back-stabs him and messes up every other possible deal from major movie producers. In the end he gives her the rights to the book because the book would not be possible without her in the first place. Thats why he made Blair the star of the book right? But after she showed that she was hurt by that fact, and told Dan that he was the love of her life are writers trying to take it back to the Serena and Dan time period? Would it even be possible? They are obviously not the same people anymore. They are still wicked souls, but for the sake of their jobs now.
I really wont talk much about Nate because he is boring. He once again has no story line except for being the king of milfing, and having morals. Gross. Chuck Bass on the other hand is such a complex character without even trying to be. I loved the way the psychologist summed up his life after doing her research on him. Finally somebody got to him!! But as soon as he decides to open up to someone we see that Louie is talking to the same psychologist. Was this planned?

Other thoughts
-Who is Diana? After taking Bart's private investigation file from the Van der Woodsen home she takes out a black and white photo of HERSELF and burns it. Who was she? What connection does she have to the Van der Woodsens? Why is she back? Is she Chuck's mother? Poor Nate.

Memorable Quotes

  • Chuck: I could think of a few girls who would look good in this.
  • Mother-in-law: He will protect royal tradition
    • Sister: Yes but will she?
  • Psychologist: I converted,
    • Chuck: Well that's probably a smart move in your line of work.
  • GG: On the Upper East Side it's not what you say that determines what you are its what you do. Whether your making a big announcement or trying to close a deal. Or firing the first shot.

Ringer- The poor kids do it everyday

Those are relics of my old life, todays about protecting my new one

I just have one main question. Who the hell killed Jemma? Was it Siobhan? How is she doing everything from halfway across the world? Is it that one guy from episode 2? Is Jemma actually still alive? Okay sorry that turned into like 10 questions, let me back it up a little bit.
Bridget finds out that Jemma is missing after an odd confrontation with a pretty freaked out Henry. We see a flashback to the past and its clear that when Siobhan told Henry she could take care of Jemma and Andrew- she really meant she would kill them. In a twisted turn of events Bridget goes to the place where Henry dumped all the broken and bloody possesions and rubs her bare hand on them leaving Bridget Kellys D.N.A. A friend explained to me as I was confused that this way she sets the blame off of Shiv and Henry because she knows they will never find Brigdet, but cant they just ask to fingerprint her? Now she's letting the detective and whole search party know that Bridget is in fact still alive, which in turn makes for an interesting story sure.
There was not much else going on in the episode. Juliet was being bullied at her new school by some freaky weird goth chick but she stood her ground and it escalated into girl on girl action in the hallway. It was awfully sad to see Juliet storm out of the office crying as no one would believe her side of the story. Cause people normally believe their drugged up children... But lo and behold her new teacher came to her rescue. Anyone else sense a teacher-student love story escalating here? Obviously not as hot as Ezra and Aria but i'll take it.
After hours of cleaning up a bloody house and being interrogated by police after thinking Shiv sold him out Henry was let go. Now we know he really is not guilty. My only question is where are the kids???? Detective Machado's character is coming to a quick end in my opinion. After he sent in his search party into the strip club that stare down with Macawi was enough to send shivers down my spine. He's going to getttttt you. As for Malcolm, where did they hide him so quickly? Poor Bridget, her sponsor is too busy being relapsed to help her out when she is handed a bag of drugs and cant seem to control her urges. Thank God for Tyler, her new sponsor (she moves on quickly) whom I believe will be a potential love interest. Hmmmmm

Memorable Quotes

  • Juliet-It means I could wear whatever I want. The poor kids do it everyday
  • Juliet- There, now you and your family can eat for a whole month.
  • Bridget- Im not the one cleaning up crime scenes.
  • Henry- What would a woman like you never do.
  • Bridget- No I don't know you and I never did.

Gossip Girl- Memoirs of an invisible Dan

Don't give up your own fact over someone else's fiction

Chuck Bass breaks my heart more and more each week. And each week I despise Louie more and more. Not that I don't want Blair to have her fairytale, but that fairytale is with Chuck. One picture on Gossip Girl shows more love between the two then a 30 minute scene between Blair and Louie. Chucks speech to Lily tore at my heart. He had feelings all along he was just denying them. Not having Blair in his life is hurting him more then anything. But I must admit his facial expressions at Dan's book signing crack me up. If the story stays the same never fear Dan will join Chuck and he wont be alone forever.
Charlie is screwed. If its one thing she should have learned on the Upper East Side its that nobody there can live a life without manipulation and secrets. You want the comfortable life style you better be willing to kiss ass and suck up to everyone in order not to get exposed. Eventually you will get exposed and then you must be quick witted and learn to manipulate and lie your way out of that. I know she has the hang of it but is it really something she wants to do? Does she want to be a slave to this old cougar to keep "fake" friends?
Dan Humphrey... Once you rise to the top, you expose everyone and loose them anyways. Its one thing to do that to your friends, because these friends are people he hated from the beginning but to your own father? Especially Rufus.... Come on the man makes smiley face pancakes for breakfast and pretends he's a rock and roll legend. How can you even begin to talk smack about him? Thats absurd. Anywho Dan sure is living up to his name of Lonely Boy. Isn't it always like that you get the fame, you get the fortune, but in between you loose yourself.
Its hard to remember how Serena was back then because we haven't seen that Serena in awhile. She has been so reformed and serious and all she does is concentrate on work. I kind of miss the badass Serena. The one that was drunk, never remembered where she was, went on crazy vacations, slept with convict teachers when she was underage. I definitely think they need to spice her life up again. I understand she's older, more mature, wiser but come on let the girl have her fun. I don't think any of them even turned 21, how mature could she really be....

Other Thoughts
-Did anyone think to include Jenny in this book? Theres a lot to say about racoon eyes over there.
-Was Vanessa not in the book? Hmmm.... I guess I could understand that. If Dan didn't think Nate was important enough to be a major part in the story, why would Nessa be?
-Serena better start sucking up to Dan. There's about to be a movie about the Upper East Side. Maybe Dan won't agree and S will get fired and she'll turn to alcoholism?....
-Can we reveal the real father of the baby. I would love to see Louie's face.. Like a big close up on that one. Ha.

Quotes

  • B- I dont want them to think of me as a star of some trashy tv show like 'unmarried pregnant princess' or 'royally screwed'.
  • S- Ok im pretty sure this is how every murder mystery begins.
  • C- All success comes at a price. The artist must stand alone to observe the crowd right?
  • GG- Looks like the best piece of fiction is that people are actually happy for Dan Humphrey.
  • L- She will always have her secrets, she cant live without them.
  • D- If you can't tell the difference between what I did to Blair and what I did to you then maybe your portrayal in the book is more accurate then you thought.
  • GG- Seems like Dan Humphrey is on the fast track from lonely boy to only boy.
  • GG- In literature there are thousands of endings, some happy, some sad. Some end with a twist, some stories open the door for something more. And then there are fairytale endings where the girl gets her prince, and endings that turn you introspective about your own life and your place in the world. And then theres the ending you saw coming a mile away but it still takes you by surprise. But don't worry Upper East Side friends, this story isn't ending. Were just at the start of a brand new chapter.
-C- everyone loves a villian
S- Yeah I told Blair the same thing but if that's true why are you always alone?

The Vampire Diaries- The Reckoning

"Given the choice, dopppleganger or hybrid, I got with hybrid everytime"

How does Vampire Diaries do it every week!?!?!?
This weeks episode was exceptional based on the fact that everybody was included and everybody had such a vital role. Everyones life was changed all because of prank night. Even Matts because lets be serious… he deserves it. He’s trying os hard to fit in with all his supernatural friends.
Klaus and Stefan are like a bipolar couple. Stefan hates him but he has to listen to him but keeps trying to prove his trust to him, although he would do anything to save Elena. I caught myself cheering when Stefan snapped and told Klaus that he would not turn it off. So violent and sexy, mmm. He ended up feeding on Elena but only because Klaus had caught on to the fact that her blood keeps his hybrids alive. The original witch who had told him the doppleganger had to die forgot to mention that in order for him to change she must die, but for him to stay alive he must feed on her blood. So I guess Klaus owes Stefan one. And even though Stefan and Elena keep talking about how much they love each other and he’s doing everything in his power to save Elena, I feel like the magic they had as a couple is gone. I mean obviously she saw him feed on two of her classmates and all but in that ending scene you could tell she had fallen for Damon. Stefan could tell he lost her to his brother too. It was hilarious how they suddenly seemed to have switched positions, Damon being the sweet sensitive boyfriend and Stefan getting his bourbon drink and sneering as he tells them to carry on. Save yourself the trouble Elena, Damon will always win. Always.
I understand that Katherine wants Damon all to herself and she wants to be the hero and all that but I think she does more bad then good. Not that im complaining because the effects are always very interesting but becusse of her Damon wasn’t there for Elena when she had a gym countdown on her life. Damon was too busy kidnapping Jeremy and interrogating Anna through Jeremy. After Damon went back to save Elena, Jeremy and Katherine went to awake Michael (a vampire hunter). I wonder whats so scary about Michael that had Klaus dipping harder then ever when Damon mentioned him.
Im a little worried about Tyler. We know vampires have heightened senses but how does that work for a hybrid. There is so much we don’t know about this new species Klaus created and its pretty dangerous. Tyler might be feeling all high and mighty but Carolines terrified, as she should be. Does this also mean that in order to stay alive he must drink Elena’s blood. That would be kind of weird…. If I was Caroline I don’t know how comfortable I would be with that….
Matt cracks me up. Poor Matty is the only human on the show simply trying to enjoy prank night while he feels like Dan Humphrey did on Season 1. I got this weird vibe though that Bonnie and Matt might soon be getting some face time? They bonded immensely after she saved his life and now that he is seeing Vicky things are about to get interesting. Plus I doubt Jeremy would really care at this point. He’s too busy talking to his ghostly ex-gf and possibly hooking up with his sister’s lookalike….. Yeah…

 Other Thoughts
-Where the hell is Alaric
-TEAM DELENA!!!!!!
-Rebecca is hilarious. Taking pictures of herself and taking over Katerinas witty one liners. Theres something about them old vampires that just so clever and sarcastic.
-Is Jenna ever going to come back from the dead? If Jeremy can have his ex back, and Matt can have his sister, its only fair Ric gets his gf back. At least his ex wife? Anyone?

Memorable Quotes
  • Damon- Thought i'd give it a shot but the truth is you just dont do it for me anymore
  • Klaus- Go on then. Go on and fetch your grimoires and what not.
  • Katherine- What if I told you there was a way to kill Klaus. And not dagger dead. Dead-dead.
Damon- I’d say you were desperate and lying. Or drunk. Or desperate, lying, and drunk.
  • Rebecca- Why is the doppleganger bitch wearing my necklace?
  • Damon- Stop being cute.
    Katherine- It’s not possible.
  •   Damon- I promise I will never leave you again.
  • Stefan- well isn't this cozy
  • Stefan- From now on you are under my protection, mm by all means, carry on.

The Secret Circle- Death and All his Friends

“I just want what you want… Power”

One thing is for sure, a demon has invaded town. Finding home in Melissa the poor girl had no idea what was going on with her. She seemed to be having a good trip as she went from one extreme emotion to the next and convincing Nick that she found her book of shadows in the forest. After he dug up an awfully huge suitcase she made him take it back to the house and called the rest of the circle. But her odd behavior had everybody on their toes and then suddenly the suitcase was moving and a worm was sliding across Melissa’s forehead and it was obvious- she had been possessed. Threatening to kill Nick if the circle didn’t do as she wanted Cassie ran to get help from her grandma finally admitting that she knows shes a witch. After removing the demon from Melissa it moved on to Nick who ran away from the group as they burned the suitcase full of demons.
Nick found his way to the beach shack and threatheend to light it on fire if Adam wouldn’t come with the suitcase. He then found Dawn and heres where this got awfully confusing. He said that he was what Dawn and the circle had summoned 16 years ago and he needs a new body and the whole circle to do what he has to finish. But clever Dawn called up Thomas and after a tortourous time they succeeded in drowning Nick, and disappearing before anyone saw their part in it. Well all is well all the demons are gone, but what did the demon want to finish? What was his goal? Why did they make a whole episode about it if they were just going to kill the demon and move on with it? Unless the demon escaped and they killed poor Nick for no reason? Seems like a repeat of 16 years ago is headed our way if the first member of the circle has already parished.

Other thoughts
-The scene with Adam and Diana, although hot, seemed so forced. For him it seemed like “yah I still have a girlfriend but im really thinking of Cassie” type of thing.
-Melissa broke my heart at the end when she cried into Faye’s lap. She finally found happiness and just like that it’s gone.
-She was also very creepy and lesbionic when she was possessed, but overall good acting. At times it was even comical (like when she was on the couch tweaking out and Adam and Diana are just chilling there). Ha.
-The ending was horribly sad. The boy in the window is gone… Actually it wasn’t that sad because I don’t really feel a passion towards any of the characters the way I do in many other shows.
-Dawn and Thomas needed the power of 6 to reactivate their powers through the crystal. Is that really all their up to? Weak.

Memorable Quotes:
-Cassies Gma- It makes sense I guess you’d find each other. You have so much in common. Your parents were all such good friends.
-Cassie: We want to find out what happened 16 years ago.
Diana: What if exposing ourselves means we never find out.
-Dawn: You think we could go back to using phones for these kind of conversations?
-Cassies Gma- Please don’t make the same mistake Cassie.
-Nick: Its not what you think.
Faye: Not even remotely.
-Melissa: Then his blood is on your hands.
-Faye: How many witches does it take to open a suitcase?
-Cassie: What good is magic if you cant save the people you care about.

Ringer- Burn Notice

"Cliches are crap and secrets only make addictions worse"

It just goes to show you how well your friends and family really know you. In the video Jemma was creeping on Shiv has a huge burn mark she got in cooking class. Did anyone really not realize that? I know its not a huge mark but I mean come on guys. See Jemma actually freaked me out in this episode. Something about her red fiery hair, and the rage that was hidden deep inside her, and the she starts pulling out all these plans and offers that she knows Shiv cant refuse. She threatens to expose Bridget and ruin her life, in a way you kind of think she deserved what was coming for her.

The whole episode was solely based on keeping everyones lies straight and undercover. Juliet went on a crazy drug rampage even destroying Shiv's wedding dress as a 'oh look at me I am sad after my parents divorce' cry for help. It's a perfect depiction of rich kids who are really never satisfied with what they have but the storyline to me is being a little dragged out. No I do not feel sorry for you Juliet. You have money (enough to afford those high class drugs) , parents that love you, and gorgeous hair. If the biggest problem in your life is going to a public school then man I wish I had your problems.
Then we have Henry. He seemed like a put together straight up kind of guy. But we all know how those artistic/creative types work. Nearing the end of the episode and blowing my mind completely, we see that Jemma is panicking and calling Andrew to stop by because she needs to talk. When she does Henry says that Jemma isn't home and he's all sweaty, breathing heavy, clearly up to no good. Then we see broken lamps and blood on the walls and OH MY GOD did Henry KILL JEMMA? I mean thats the most logical response. Or did somebody kill Jemma and he came home to find her dead? Did Jemma kill herself???? Breathe.... You know I think the worst part of it all is that she really loved this man... What is Henry going to do now? What about the kids? As horrible as this sounds look on the bright side, he saved a lot of people by killing her (if he did) and shut her up for good. Now nobody knows Bridget's secret and all is well.

Random Thoughts
-Listen Shiv, your sponsor hasn't picked up, responded, called you back in days. Get the hint... Something is wrong so stop leaving voicemails that can be traced back to you!
-As a person who is very close to the person of interest, you would think the detective would check up on Max?
-Wonder what Shiv is doing up in Paris... morning sickness got the best of her?
-Whats the deal with the new sponsor. Is he going to become a major character? Is he just set up to get closer to Bridget/Shiv?

Memorable Quotes

  • Jemma: You know I married a first class liar but you are the gold standard.
  • Jemma: I guess you are Siobhan's sister. You somehow made this all about you.
  • Jemma: I want you to sleep with my husband or I'll tell everyone who your really are.
  • Juliet: You really want to know why I hate Siobhan? Because she's a cheating bitch who sleeps with married men!
-Andrew: You destroyed Siobhan's photo.
-Juliet: I think it's an improvement.

Gossip Girl- The Jewel of Denial

"I'm starting to realize mothers have some of the darkest secrets of all"

Well leave it to Gossip Girl to keep me waiting in suspense on who the father is, only to be lied to in the end! Lied to I tell you. I strongly believe this is Chucks baby. Blair strongly believes this is Chucks baby. A little riddle I myself cannot wait to solve is how did Blair get an envelope saying that Louie was the father? Dan handed her that one, but after she went home and told Louie the "good" news the envelope she ripped up was taped together on her table. Is Dan Humphrey behind the fake paternity test? If this is the case who knew lonely boy had it in him. Then again he is best friends with Queen B.
Charlie, manipulative little Charlie. For a struggling actor she sure scored the biggest role of her life. After struggling internally with how to free herself from Serena, who is so goddamn persistent, she found her answer in Blair. It's her life she should live it the way she wants too and honestly, if you were handed a Van der Woodsen life on a platter, would you really trade it back in for a life of debt and crappy one bedroom apartments? I mean really, the girl gets designer dresses handed to her for free and a trust fund loaded with cash. Hopefully Nate's not smart enough to make the connection cause if he calls Ivy out I think there will definitely be hell to pay on his part. She's been around long enough to pick up a few bitchy back stabbing tricks.
What could be better than Chuck Bass? An adorable Bass puppy to play with! After he adopted him from the shelter and had him sterilized, which Gossip Girl misread as Chuck disowning the puppy, he ended up cuddling with him all night as he shed a tear and regained his 'feelings'. Yes that sounds a little odd for Chuck's character but after Blair told him she was pregnant with someone else's baby and that there was no room in the Bass lifestyle for a baby I wanted to go over there and give him a huge hug... He loves her. It is the purest form of love on T.V. And yes, I do realize I am talking about Blair and Chuck when I say pure love, but really they need to get back together. I don't think I can do anymore of these tearful nights at the Bass residence.

Couple of thoughts
-Nate has suddenly become a journalist and a phone thief and is trying to take over Gossip Girls job.
-We know where Lily has been the first few episodes (house arrest of course) but what has Rufus been up to? Besides making breakfast and all..
-First Dan doesn't want his book published, then someone claims they wrote the book, now Dan wants to get credit for his book. Honestly getting published is huge, and what could he have written about in the book about everyone that hasn't already been posted on GG?
-So Vanessa really isn't coming back eh?

90210- Let the Games Begin

"Tastes the same no matter what you drink out of"

90210 is getting spiceeeey! And I for one am loving it. I feel like every character has fallen into their own storyline finally and those story-lines are evolving into something worth watching.
Naomi is such a dimensional character. She goes from persona to persona but never fails to surprise you. Leading her greek sorority in the game for Greek council she pulls out all the stops even seducing Austin with her killer bod. The physical attraction was there from the beginning she just didn't know it. But just like Naomi uses those around her to get what she wants, Austin took a couple of pointers from her handbook using her in return to make his ex gf Holly jealous. Well mean girl Holly pulled a couple tricks from her sleeve and in return called up Naomi's ex bf Max. Screw with someones heart, and they screw right back. It seems as though the master plan backfired on Holly because Naomi and Max made up and got back toghether. This in turn led to Naomi realizing she has hot and heavy feelings for Austin. Maybe they could take some pointers from Stefan and Rebecca and replicate that sexy menage a tois....
Liam is struggling with his animal instincts as he deals with the fact that he cannot provide for his new pregnant girlfriend. Annie seems to have forgotten about Liam thanks to her financial problems and drops out of the greek games to focus on writing some scholarship essays. She proves to be a real friend when she sabotages her own sorority during the last game to help Naomi win. Navid, who seemed very against the illegal things his uncle was doing in his studios, took the money with very little objection and bought Dixon studio time as an 'I'm sorry for screwing up your music producing future' apology. Dixon apparently has no talent unless he takes ADHD medication... No sure how I feel on that story line. Is he going to become an addict now?
I think the most shocking and eerie part of this episode had to be the stranger that randomly came up to Ade while she was sippin some coffee on her break. The question he asked- very personal. Then when she saw him as she was cleaning up I saw her life flash before my eyes. And then kaboom she see's him in a picture with Liam and realizes that he's Jim... THE GUY WHOSE SUPPOSE TO BE DEAD! The guy whose gf Liam is sleeping with while she's carrying his baby. Why isn't he dead? What the hell does he want? If he's so jealous of Liam and his wife, then why did he fake dying and why is stalking Ade? I am just so blown away by this storyline....
Then for some comic relief we have Liam's promotional commercial for his bar. If I saw a commercial like that for a bar you bet your ass I would go check it out. Gotta give Silver some props for turning what was an awfully acted and awkward commercial into a best seller.

Memorable Quotes

  • Naomi: Pink velour is so 06'.
  • Naomi: If you think tanorexics in mortyfing jogging suits are going to scare me off you clearly dont know me very well.
  • Naomi: What do you taste like? What is that hay?
  • Liam: If it will help the bar take off i'll tap dance in a chicken suit...
  • Music Producer: I dont think you'll be cutting an EP at this pace in 5 days. But dont worry about it kid the artists that are blowing up at your age, their of a certain breed. They eat sleep and breathe music 24/7. Believe me not everybody has that kind of focus.
  • Navid: I think coco just puffed.
  • Austin: Max might see the good in you, but I see the bad. And I like it.
-Naomi: I find you repulsive
-Austin: I find you a pain in the ass.

-Naomi: You are the devil.
-Austin: And you made a deal with me.

-Austin: The thing about us filthy cowboys is that uh we know how to handle a load of bull.
-Naomi: Are you saying I'm full of it?
-Austin: I'm saying I can handle it.

The Secret Circle- Heather

"Wherever there are witches, there is evil"

In the nicest way possible I can tell you I cant seem to find myself as a fan of this show. There was tons of suspense, interesting use of magic, a depth to the story line and then horrible acting. Everything that was going on seemed to be happening so oddly and nothing really flowed. It almost felt like because they could do whatever they wanted to create a story they did, no rules just whatever could be thrown in was.
Cassie and Faye went behind the circles back to perform magic. They wanted to revive Heather, Cassie's mothers best friend. Something horrible happened to her after the fire that killed all of their parents, and Cassie wanted answers. The result wasn't so pretty. Heather had not moved for 16 years. After Diana didn't let Cassie and Adam revive her, Faye (only helping Cassie because she wanted to get her hands on the family spell book) joined in on the mission. Thinking the spell didn't work the two leave back home where a possessed Heather shows up. This scene actually terrified me and as that door creaked open by itself and Cassie was stiff with fear, I was curling up under my blanket like I was watching a bad horror movie.

Turns out Cassie's mom did not do this to her friends but put her in a state of trance to help with the pains she was suffering. Demons had possessed her body. After she tries killing Faye and Cassie, she gets hit by a car (mean girls style) and dies leaving the evil demon to escape her body (a nasty worm) and sneak into Nick's backpack. In the end the worm crawls into Melissa's ear and its safe to say there will be some exorcisms performed on her in the episode to come.
Besides that there are little stories that apply to the circle as teenagers. Melissa is in love with bad boy Nick but she is manipulated by Faye and so she automatically assumes he is going to cheat on her and that he will never change. Cassie and Adam are falling for each other fast and Diana is trying to stop it as best she can without coming off psychotic. Little does she know after dropping her off Adam goes to make sure Cassie is doing all right. Innocent fun can always turn bad....
I wonder where all the adults were today while demons were being unleashed in their living rooms? And what about that guy that was interested in Cassie? How is the new family spell book going to come into play? I must give props where they are due for creating suspense, action, and some comic Faye relief.

Memorable Quotes

  • Nick: Somethings should be done without magic
  • Faye: Don't be the pathetic girl that thinks he'll change for me, they never change.
  • Melissa: Faye was right, your never going to change, go find another slut toy.
  • Faye: Your mother must have been one mean ass witch.
  • Diana: This is way beyond witchcraft, this is black magic.

-Nick: I'm never going to be the guy you want me to be.
-Melissa: Is that a warning or a threat?
-Nick: I'm going to disappoint you. You deserve better.
-Melissa: That's the sweetest thing you've ever said to me.. Im not disappointed.

-Adam: You got a broom?
-Cassie: Sure... I'm a witch.

-Melissa: Your a bitch.
-Faye: No, Im your friend.

Ringer- It's Gonna Kill Me, But I'll Do It

"But when you were with me it was something else and you had this look like I was the only person in the world that mattered to you, and I lived for that look... But tonight with Andrew, you were looking at him that way."

It seems its a lot harder to become someone else, even if you look exactly like the person and have known them all your life cause you never actually know someone fully do you? You can assume but there are hidden secrets, kinks, and actions. Bridget knew none of those things about Shiv but those around her seem to realize things like that she hates mean, loved to be spoiled on her birthday, and would never in a million years take the jitney.
Officer Machado is very persistent in finding Bridget and is onto Siobhan keeping a close eye on her. Following her to the Hampton's he confronts Gemma and reveals Shivs dark family secret to her. Gemma confronts her saying she is pretty hurt that they have been friends for 5 years and knew nothing about her even having a sister. It's like she doesn't know her at all... Ding Ding. The episode is guided along by flashbacks to various birthday when the sisters loved each other and shared a locket to when Shiv never wanted to see Bridget again. You can see Shiv is hurt when she pushes her sister away, so what has suddenly changed that she can be ice cold and plan a murder plot against her. Is it safe to assume this is all payback for "accidentally" killing her son? "I don't even recognize her anymore, Im ashamed of what she did."Although she said she forgived Bridget in the first episode im not quite sure that was ever the case.
Machado also confronts "Siobhan" about the recording found on the yacht the day Bridget went missing. If the real Bridget doesnt start tying up those loose ends, keeping her lies on track, and carrying her phone with her at ALL times things are going to get ugly quick. Another piece of advice... keep those huge secrets private ad discuss them in the safety of a private room. Shiv and Henry had a rather sentimental and heartbreaking convo about the past only to have his wife/her best friends intently listening a thin wall away. You would think they would invest some time to do this secretly by taking a walk on the beach or chatting in a closet rather then just openly talking for every passerbyer to get an earful. Then we have the altercation with Shiv and Gemma, who biotch smacked her and called her a whore (deserved!) we get another revelation, "Im not who you think I am. Im Bridget!" I mean detective Machado was just in your house 2 seconds ago questioning your motives and he is probably still lurking around. Now you have a nosy detective and a pist off best friend all up in your business and they both want explanations.
All in all I still want to know what the real Siobhan is up to and who is she working with? I think Bridget was really starting to develop feelings for Andrew and it was a mutual feeling, but I cant lie I am definitely excited to see his reaction when he finds out his wife has been sleeping with a friend. The Gemma- Bridget- Siobhan cat fight will also play out very interestingly. And how is she going to deal with the baby that clearly does not exist... and how will they deal with the baby that does exist? It would also be nice to follow up with Marcus. Is he dead? Are they still holding him as a prisoner and injecting him with drugs? I wonder if Machado has any spies in different countries. Will someone see Shiv in Paris and report a sighting. That would be an interesting spin off because they would assume it was Bridget. Hmmm. What a twisted world we have entered.

The Vampire Diaries- Disturbing Behavior

"No one in this world is truly fearless"

It was great seeing Bonnie after her trip to Washington to film The Secret Circle, but I think I was the only one that was excited by her return.
Elena is finally realizing she has hidden feelings for Damon. Props to the producers of TVD to keep me hanging by every romantic moment these two share, only to have me not want the two together the minute she realizes she loves him.
The thing that quite frankly pisses off many fans is that Elena tries to change everybody, and as Damon pointed out he isn't Stefan. That being said, why is everybody treating Damon like he is some kind of monster when Stefan is clearly 20 times worse then his brother and always has been (he just has a good way of hiding it).
I almost felt sorry for Damon in this episode. Everybody was telling him what to do, what to act like, where to go and when Katherine came for her diabolical partner in crime I wanted them to frolic right out of Mystic Falls toghether. He should have killed Bill before his departure though because the way he spoke to his daughter after she just saved his life was uncalled for. No worries, he will get whats coming to him... Everyone in Mystic Falls does...
Stefan, Klaus, and Rebecca are a love to hate trio. Its rather hard to keep up with all the ranges of emotions and feelings that they encounter throughout a 45 minute episode. One minute Rebecca's in love with Stefan, the next she is forming a union with her brother and outing Stefan, then Klaus is testing Stefan's faith in him. These 3 have some serious trust issues. Although I am loving the whole badass Stefan appeal, the fact that its all an act and he is doing all of this to protect Elena makes me love him so much more. Shame on you Elena, giving into Damon's good looks and diabolical charm. Oh what a great word- diabolical. Its good to know Katerina is still on the right team, trying her best to help Stefan as she saves herself in the meantime.
I would try and comment on the whole Anna and Jeremy situation but as of right now I am confused; kind of like Matt was confused throughout the whole last season... Wonder what he's been up to lately.
Is Anna back because she's lonely? I would think thats highly unlikely. So many people have died in the past 2 seasons I'm sure she has a whole entourage on the "other side". Why is Vicky evil? Why should we even believe Anna?
Rick is a beast. That is my finishing thought on the episode. His death count is close to, if not more then, Elijah's and yet there he is taking on the towns council. Someone has to protect the innocent people of Mystic Falls (if those even exist...!) It's good to see his character finally find a ground of his own and take a stand.

Memorable Quotes
-Rebecca: So women in the 21st century dress like prostitutes then? And what is this music? It sounds like a cable car accidents.
   - Stefan: Its dance music.
   - Rebecca: People dance to this?

-Stefan: Your the one who pulled the dagger out of her.
-Rebecca: I heard that...

-Elena: Its an old family recipe.
-Damon: Yah I knew your old family. They made sucky

-Katerina: Come on Stefan, your not the diabolical type.
-Stefan: If the most diabolical woman I know cant seem to figure it out, then I must be doing something right.

-Katerina: You're bad now, don't get too cocky.

-Damon: Can we just kill him?
-Sheriff Forbes- No Damon. He's Carolines father.
-Damon: He sounds like a douchebag to me.

-Caroline: So your not like switching Salvatore's are you?
-Caroline: Probably off somewhere doing bad things to good people.
-Stefan: Oh so you mean I'm taking a page from the Katherine Pierce playbook?
-Stefan: Thats good... Its good to want things Katherine.
-Damon: Makes you the 3rd person to underestimate me today.
