Garrett's dead. Now the question is, is the story he told Spencer the truth or is it a lie? Obviously, A wanted Garrett dead for awhile now and from the looks of it, Garrett was scared of something so he probably had some kind of indication that he was in danger. Could he have possibly decided to spill the beans and let the little liars know exactly what happened that night before he died?? Lets try and digest the situation. According to Garrett, the night of Alison's death, she got into an altercation with Jenna. Garrett pretended to hit Ali with a shovel and than played along with Ali as to make it seem like he killed her. Now we know why Jenna is so scared of Garrett and why there was such strong evidence against Garrett. But we didn't know the second piece of the puzzle. Apparently, after that incident, Garrett found Ali talking to Aria's father in a heated discussion. Now this could go both ways, either Byron was mad at Ali for something (whatever that could possibly be), or he was having a romance with her, granted his history with young blonde school girls. Either way, I don't believe that the story ends with Byron killing her, yet this is just another piece to puzzle that we are unable to solve. As for who killed Garrett? I could see it being Toby, who clearly has had it out for Garrett since the very beginning.
Lets get to the part that indicates Mona is actually psychotic and working with more than one person. Someone had to have killed Garrett in those short seconds when Spencer went to find Aria. But while someone was killing Garret, someone with really long fingernails was attacking Spencer and trying to choke her. It seems like the goal for tonight was to kill everyone. My guess is that the person with the long fingernails, that drugged Aria, was a man and not Mona. Mona had to be dressed up as Caleb, since she was wearing that creepy porcelain mask when Hannah thought she was snuggling Caleb. This means that in addition to Toby and Mona, there is in fact a third A and it isn't Caleb and it isn't Noel or Jenna, since all were present at the party.
But who wasn't present? Mr. Ezra Fitz. He gave Aria some bull excuse about having to go to some book convention in Philadelphia during the time of the ghost train. Although the story could have been believable, his eyes were telling a much more deceitful story. Than after all was said and done, he was surprisingly at the scene of the crime without Aria having to call and inform him of anything. He mysteriously heard that someone got hurt on the train and drove next to it? Come on Ezra, you really need better lies. Why don't you admit that you were the one trying to kill your girlfriend? Alright, I know thats me jumping to conclusions but still, what else am I suppose to get out of this? I can't really blame it on Adam Lambert.
As if it wasn't gruesome enough that Garrett died, it was horrifying to see poor Aria stranded in a coffin like box, with his dead body at her side. How do you cope with that? Sick minded people. Sick minded Mona. I must admit I'm secretly happy that this time something terrible was happening to Aria. I feel like every time things go down, she's always out of the picture spending romantic time with Ezra. Its about time she got a taste of the A medicine. The question ultimately remains, who was trying to push the box with Aria out of the train. There were two voices who were arguing about pushing the box out, a girls voice and a guy's voice, but who could it have been? If it was in fact Toby, wouldn't Caleb have to be in on it as well? Or could it have been Paige instead of Mona? Ultimately, it could have been Ezra. One down, a couple more to go.
Although everything in the episode makes some sort of sense, I mean its not completely out there that Aria almost died, Garrett died and Spencer was attacked. It's not even shocking that the black bag from the funeral home was found in the ice of the refreshments. A is capable of all of that. What is eerily creepy and more disturbing than the porcelain dolls, is the blonde girl that was following Ashley around. Who was the little girl. She obviously wasn't alive. Will there be an explanation for this? Will Ashley be haunted by this little girl? Or will this just remain part of the Halloween episode? In some strange way, I feel as if this little girl is the connection to last years Halloween episode and the story Ali told about two twin sisters and how one of the sisters killed the other one. Could this actually be Ali's twin sister? But how is she back? Why? And why is she visiting Ashley?
Since Pretty Little Liars is not returning until next January, its safe to say that we will just live in utter confusion about so many new revelations. It wouldn't be in style for the episode to end without a cliffhanger, so here it is. Outside of what seems to be freshly covered up land, possibly from where Ali's grave was dug up and her body stolen, emerges a hand. A real live hand of a girl that is buried alive under all the dirt. But who could be buried alive? It clearly cannot be Ali since way to much time has passed since her time of death and now. Unless she was alive to begin with and someone just buried her after holding her captive? I'm not sure where this show is going or what its trying to tell us at this point all I know is that parents are seeing dead people, people are being buried alive, and people are being killed left and right. No one is safe and everyone is a suspect. Its unfortunate that Spencer cannot see that. Well folks, I leave you with this.
"I told them I wanted to do an art project for Halloween. They said we don't like to talk about Halloween around here, it's suppose to have bad connotations for some of the patients. I guess I see the point. But I love Halloween. All the dressing up, being other people, tricks and treats, treats that turn into tricks. Its better than Christmas; more makeup. And this is going to be the best Halloween ever. I bet someone's life on that."
