We're getting closer and closer to finding out who A is, but in the meantime A is pulling out all the cards. This weeks episode allowed us to step into Vivian's life through the introduction of Duncan. Apparently, when the torture A would put her threw became to much to handle Alison would flee Rosewood and find comfort in Duncan. It was an interesting thing to see that there were times when Ali actually stopped being a manipulative biatch and just let her real self shine through. By getting to know more about Ali, Aria stumbled upon some useful information: Ali had figured something out at Hilton Head the days he got killed. Could it be that Ali found out who A was and that's why she got killed? Does that mean that history repeats itself and the liars are in for the same punishment? 
Toby made his way back to Rosewood and brought with him a lot of tension and awkwardness. Spencer had to cope with the fact that she pretty much lost the love of her life to her worst enemy, Jenna and we were left wondering what had gotten into Toby? We understand Jenna's been through a lot but this alliance was the last thing anyone needed. Actually, it only adds on to the confusion. If Jenna isn't A than who is? Up until yesterdays episode all signs were positive that Jenna could have been A. This week in a horrific mimic of that fire that took away Jenna's sight, A tried killing Jenna for what? And then framing possibly Garett, by placing his badge at the scene of the crime. This is actually brilliant thinking on A's part because Garett is a weak link and would have perfect reason to want revenge on Jenna, the girl that broke his heart. But lets not forget Garett now has a connection with Melissa, which in theory could be that basis of my argument: Melissa is A. Although technically Mona had just enough anger bottled up inside to want to get revenge on Jenna for stealing away Toby from her. Then theres also the possibility that Jason did it. The list just goes on and on. 
We did learn one thing. Allison was actually at Rosewood a lot earlier than the girls thought and from the clues it seems she might have went to a Rosewood concert the day of her death. What connection does that have to her murder? No idea. Did she run into Ian and Melissa and Melissa got so jealous she killed Ali? One thing for certain is everyone is damn good at keeping secrets in Rosewood. And speaking of secrets is Maya still alive or did A kidnap her and is he now writing emails as Maya to make sure that nobody comes looking for her?????
As for the other relationships in Rosewood, they were basically non-existant. Well besides for the on-going flirting between doctor Ren and Spencer. Nothing like a doctor to get your mind off of your ex right? And As much as Aria and Ezra are fighting to stay together their loosing the spark they once had. Aria is too pre-occupied getting into planes with random strangers and trying to solve the mystery of Alison and A and Ezra... well he's Ezra. We thought that Aria's mom was on her daughters side for a split second only for those hopes to be crushed by the realization that all she want's to do is help her daughter let go of Ezra without pushing her away. And although it was pretty awesome that Ezra decided to stop getting pushed around by Aria's parents and stand up for himself, I can't help but this thats just going to make them hate him more. All we know for sure is that when A is revealed Aria can find comfort in Ezra's arms cause he is not going to take that teaching job.
