Pretty Little Liars- Crazy

"Friends don't let friends sneak into insane asylums alone."

Never judge a book by its cover, or rather a T.V show by its previews. This weeks Pretty Little Liars made us very aware that A was not playing and that Mona, might actually be innocent??? Ok, maybe thats a bit of a stretch but it seems that she really has been out of the loop since she's been in the looney bin.

As strange and eerie as the scenes in the mental hospital seemed to be, it actually resulted in Mona helping the liars. It's becoming really tough to see which side Mona is actually on, or if she really is crazy at all. At times, she seems to be normal and collected, but than we have those freaky scenes in the children's room where she chants really messed up sayings while claiming she "missed her dolls"and we're left wondering is she really all ok up there? It was pretty ingenious of Mona to talk in code because lets face it, crazy or not, she knows that she's being stalked. A had his tape recorders all up in those dolls. She cannot say anything without being to cautious. Either way by using the secret code her and Hannah made up a couple of days before Alison's body was found, she was able to communicate to the girls that something was "Not Safe" and provided them with a link to a website that had a picture of Maya. But that leaves all of us wondering who isn't safe? Maya or the liars?

My guess is that the latter is the better bet. A is really not playing around at this point. He/ She has even gone to such extreme lengths as framing Hannah for the murder by putting her blood sample on the bracelet that Jason turned into the cops. And unfortunately, Rosewood is a town thats quick to judge by deceiving evidence. It also doesn't help that Hannah has been digging herself into a bigger hole than most of the girls. She's been lying to Caleb, sneaking into hospital rooms with threatening notes, and now Alison's father is back in town and he's still pretty pissed off about Hannah "joking" that Ali was alive. It also doesn't help that Wilden is on her ass 24.7. The man shows up at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hell, he's even at church parties! He's practically as present in Hannah's life as A is.

Seems that Alison's father has a negative reaction on many people in the town, including his son. But why was Jason driving drunk and hoping to end up in a jail sell besides Garett?? Does that mean he's actually guilty of something or is he just depressed about the fact that he cannot seem to figure out who actually killed his sister? Although his step sister Spencer is very quick to help Jason out of any trouble and dig herself into a bigger hole. The police have let Garett go, but that's all their doing--finding victims that they think are guilty only to end up back at the start. The mystery of Ali seems to be eating away at everyone slowly.  But one thing I have realized is that although the writers make you want to believe Alison is dead, they keep trying to hint at the fact that she might actually be alive (check Quiji board). Now with the website with Maya's face on it, the reality could be that their both alive somewhere? Maybe their working together or they really are A's victims. It bothers me that the mystery of Maya's death isn't as important as the mystery of Ali's death. As we see, everyone on this show is tied to each other. Even Nate mentioned that Jenna spoke fondly of Maya as she drove her to school a couple of times. Who knew Maya was even friends with Jenna?

As for new comer CeCe, we've only just brushed the tip of the iceberg with this one. Although the writers keep adding characters in at their convenience, I guess its something to distract us from going mental trying to figure out who A is.  As someone from Ali's past she must definitely have some insight into what made Ali who she really was. Although none of the liars new who she was, she knew about each and every one of them. Very typical of Ali to be so mysterious. But does that mean CeCe knew about A torturing Ali as well? Why did she come back to Rosewood? Why did her and Jason have a rocky breakup? Why was that summer so "intense." I have a feeling that CeCe is going to play a major role in finding out the truth about Ali. The way she meddled in Emily's business by scaring Jenna off was pretty odd though. What is it to her? I'm sensing that either she is going to fall for Emily, or worse, Emily is going to turn straight for Nate. Either way, having another Alison in town doesn't seem to be the best of idea's at this point.

On a different note, Aria's momma falling for hot coffee shop owner. Score! Who says that Byron can be the only one with a younger partner? Its funny how karma has a way of coming back to you though. After Byron has a fling with his much younger student, his young daughter had a fling with her relatively older teacher, only for the wife to find a younger sexier boyfriend. She had absolutely no chemistry with Ted, which is a good thing since Hannah's mother has actually fallen for him. But what does that say about the holy man himself?? He's a pastor on a dating site..... That's awkward. Doesn't he know how small towns work?? And for a little spoiler alert, do we finally get to meet Ezra's mother? The mother that's unnaproving of Aria because she believes that Aria will ruin him??? They've come a long way and gotten through some pretty big obstacles, but I cannot say I don't agree with her just a little bit. Ezra has lost a lot to gain Aria's love, but than again he also might be a pretty little liar. Oh this show is just too contradicting!

Memorable Quotes

  • Hannah: My blood is not on your evidence.
    • Wilden: Than why do you look so scared?
  • Aria: Its not just me right? That chick is freakishly like Alison.
    • Spencer: Or was Alison freakishly like her.
  • Ella: Why am I asking you? You wear forks as earrings.
  • A: See how easy it is for me to get your blood.

The CW 2012- 2013

THE CW 2012- 2013 FALL SCHEDULE

Many old shows got cancelled, but a lot of new shows got added.

90210 (season 5) and Gossip Girl (season 6) will be returning. Gossip Girl unfortunately for a shorter season as it is in its final season, which I hope will be an epic unforgettable final for its die hard fans. Starting January 2013 the time slot of Gossip Girl will be replaced by The Carrie Diaries, which is a spin off on Carrie Bradshaw from Sex in the City as an adolescent.  Also returning this season is Vampire Diaries for its fourth season, Supernatural for its eight season, Hart of Dixie for its second season, Nikita for its second season, and Americas Next Top Model for cycle 19.

I am most excited about the new comer Beauty and the Beast , but new shows Arrow and Emily Owens M.D look promising as well. Hopefully these shows make it past season one. It really is the most annoying thing to get hooked on a show and have it be cancelled after the first season. Therefore, I am a little upset about not being able to finish Ringer and The Secret Circle. I will always be wondering what the hell happened?

What shows are you most excited about and what shows do you think will be an ultimate flop???? Keep your comments coming as it helps me figure out what shows to blog about this fall season!

Pretty Little Liars- The Remains of the A

"At times I thought maybe he was even filming it for someone else,"

said Jason. But does he truly believe that or is that his way of playing with Spencer's reality. This weeks episode of Pretty Little Liars did nothing except lead the liars down a path of more confusion. Instead of getting closer to the truth, things are just digging themselves deeper and deeper to a point that its hard to tell if the truth will ever resurface, or if A buried it deep enough to eat at everyone's conscience as they walk down a road of self destruction. And we're beginning to reach a point, where no one can be trusted. Oh deceptive, lying, filthy people of Rosewood.

The one person I was hoping would not become a suspect in the mystery of A has suddenly become the biggest red flag. Could Ezra really have gotten all that money from Jason?? Although all signs point in that direction, I honestly hope the writers are just screwing with us. After a heartwarming realization that Ezra gave up everything for the love of his life Aria,  (the guy, as he exclaimed, went from being a professor to a couch potato, could he really deceive her like that? He needed quick cash fast. Maybe he saw an opportunity and fed Jason some false information in return for the reward? I find it hard to believe that Ezra could be part of the A team. But who knows, maybe Ezra knows something about that night that he isn't letting up too. Aria has been acting shady for the past couple of months now and he has never really questioned it. What kind of messed up role could sweet old Ezra be really playing in this?? Which really leaves me wondering, who does Jason have loyalty too? It seemed as though he didn't believe Spencer when he wrote out that $50,000 cash. Now, Ezra seems to have that money, which means Ezra would have turned his back on Aria. But he's still with Aria, and Jason is helping Spencer despite thinking that she has a lot to do with this. And now with Garett out of jail, who will his alliance fall with?

I doubt there is anyone that isn't creeped out by Wilden. Seriously, the man is everywhere acting like he is on to everything when really, he blows as a detective. Sure, the liars always set themselves up in the most inconvenient situations, but it doesn't prove anything. And although the "note switching"/ trap for A left Hannah with a dead end, it did help the girls track down something of high importance. After cracking the code, Jason realized that April Rose was actually a consignment shop. The note led Spencer and Jason to a bracelet or "the evidence" in Garett's case, that once belonged to Alison and has been a desired piece of evidence for a couple of years now. Yet, while Spencer was trying to keep Garett in jail, her plan backfired. The blood samples on the bracelet did not belong to Garett, which means that he is free of the charges against the murder of Alison. The question remains, who was suppose to find that note? Was the note meant for the liars? Did Garett know that Spencer's snoopy nose wouldn't be able to stay away and that she would willfully turn in evidence that would actually free him?  Additionally, we can only wonder who gave Ali that bracelet in the first place and how did it get to the pawn shop?

As if Ezra being a suspect wasn't shocking enough, we now have to worry about Holden. This whole time, Holden seemed like just another boy Aria could trust. Yet after Emily revisited the address where her jacket reappeared from, she started remembering some things from that night. A little coffee diner helped her realize that she was actually there with a boy, who had a tattoo. The same tattoo that Holden was rocking at the church party. When she questioned it, he quickly washed off the permanent ink saying that it was from a party he attended. A party that he mentioned always occurred at  different locations. Oh and Maya was there occasionally too. How much more cryptic could the writers get? What party? Who organizes these parties? Why do the members wear tattoo's? Why is kidnapping part of the fun?? Did Maya die at this party? Did Ali attend the parties? I'm really about to have a breakdown similar to Spencer's in this episode. I want answers just as much as the liars do, if not more. How are all these people linked? Why are they all obsessed with watching and tormenting the liars? What is the key piece of information that has been forever missing? And why does everyone have a damn alibi for everything. I'm just disappointed in the men in Aria's life this week. Disappointed.

Pretty Little Liars- That Girl is Poison

"I feel a lot safer when I'm in charge of what happens to me"
Who is Amy Rose? What proof does she have? Who did Garett leave that secret note for? Could it really have been left for A. Does this give us any indication that Garett is working with A and that everything going on with his mother is just a cover up for Garett to be freed? So many questions revolving Garett. Its hard to tell at this point if he's actually up to something or just blamed for something he didn't do. What was so wonderful about this episode though, is that unlike many of the other times, the girls actually worked on getting the clues seperately. Hannah found the jacket linking them to that night at the church function. Emily figured out that she was drugged that exact same night. Aria found the pills used to drug Emily that night. They all worked seperately to piece the puzzle together. Spencer even went one step further and figured out that Garett is hiding something and hoping that no one finds the proof. But proof to what? Could there really be multiple lies and scheme's going on or is everyone working in unison?

Most of the storyline is developed from one event, the very first episode. From that graveyard mishap, things seem to be falling in and out of place. Yet everything goes back to that one eerie night. Whatever Jenna was hiding from by pretending to be blind seems not to be a threat anymore. Proudly flaunting around that she can see her party was definitely more than just a birthday party. But why is she working so closely with a photographer. Especially a photographer that wont give Lucas back his negatives, negatives that could link him to the pictures in the cemetery. Emily already remembers being in the car with Jenna that evening, but could Lucas have been her accomplice? At this point Lucas is looking suspicious not only of taking those pictures and digging up the grave, but for drugging Emily as well. And Jenna, well the question is why is she pursuing Nate. What is his reason for staying in town and getting close to Emily?

As a result of Page's love drunk spree, the liars realized that Emily's wild night in the cemetery wasn't cause by alcohol at all but rather by a drug called MSM that are used to sedate the crazies and if mixed with liquor causes memory loss. Those pills were conveniently found in Lucas's bag. This evidence links Mona and Lucas together, which therefore links Jenna to Mona as well. The A-trio? But why? Lucas has become such a threat its a shame to see such a sweet innocent boy go down so tragically. If it wasn't for Ezra, Aria could have been in some real trouble. It still boggles my mind that after so manny deaths and threats these girls still go to places by themselves.

All we know for now is that A has a lot more up his sleeve. He has insiders everyone. Could possibly have more of the police force working for him... or her. And is now leaving little hints at church functions. These girls really cannot get a breather. And with the final minute of the episode we see A going through a bag and finding prescription drugs that belong to Maya. Could those be the drugs that Aria found??? Or is that an indication that Maya is still alive and kicking? Why would A take so long to go through Maya's bag after her death??? Nevertheless, this episode was a little low on the A sabotaging scale.

Memorable Quotes

  • Spencer: He's your boyfriend Aria, not a baby squirrel.
  • Spencer: Every time you baby squirrel Ezra you take away his nuts.
    • Aria: You did not just say that.
    • Spence: I did, but I don't think I meant that.
  • Aria: It's Ezra.
    • Spencer: Did he find his nuts?
  • Spencer: the most honest person I know has to share parents with the most deceitful person in this town.
