One Tree Hill- Last Know Surroundings

"Welcome Back Lucas Scott!"
The return of Chad Michael Murray was exciting for die hard fans but unsuccessful in the long run. After we waited so long to finally see our beloved Lucas all we got were some cheap airport scenes as they used him as a one time character to move the story line across. Come on he's Nathan's brother. After all they've been through together wouldn't it make sense that he would hang around a little and try to help find Nathan. I was a just a tad disappointed to say the least. I was hoping for a little Lucas and Dan interaction or at least a "hello Brooke I've missed you, your best friend Peyton does too." Sadly, Peyton's whereabouts remain a mystery and it doesn't look like she's going to be walking throughout those airport doors anytime soon. Nonetheless, it was great to have a little piece of the old One Tree Hill back and see the Haley and Lucas duo reconnect, as best friends should.

Also, as a loyal fan of OTH for about 8 years it pains me to see these peoples lives just fall apart. Unfortunately the season is not going in the direction I wanted. One Tree Hill always gave us messed up story lines with happy endings, but it just seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel in this. After Nathan almost freed himself the story line took a sick and twisted turn and now the cop that is supposably "helping" Haley find her husband is actually helping the mafia kill him. I've always believed in the power of Nathan Scott but this just seems hopeless. Whats even more messed up is that aside from the cop being involved so is that drug dealer that dealt to Nate and got threatened by Dan. The question now stands are these guys after Nathan because of some corrupt basketball transaction in Europe or because of Dan?? Is that why Dan is so set on finding his son?? What was the sign he uncovered at the end with Julian? Is it some kind of gang emblem he's seen before or a clue to where Nathan was at the time of the video? All  I know is that if Nathan Scott dies, I am over this show for good.

Brooke better be careful. After she made a strong and compelling statement in front of the jury against her attacker from a couple of seasons ago and Quintin's killer, you could see the hatred forming in his eyes. And after the scene where he was just creeping on Brooke as she closed the cafe its safe to say that Brooke's life might be in danger once again. Hopefully the guy won't go after her precious baby boys. See thats how corrupt the government and courts in America are. A woman testify's to keep herself and her family safe, says things  about the attacker/killer that could get her potentially killed and than they let him go? Messed up.

As always, the storyline with Clay is dull and making absolutely no progress in my opinion. Even Chuck has a cooler story right about now. We can assume that from that bruise and his sketchy behavior Chuck is afraid of his father because he beats him. The kid is so damaged and the only honest and positive person in his life has been Chase. Now that Chase is catching on the all the horrible things that are happening in Chucks life, mainly with his father, will it be enough to stop him from going back to the air force? With Austin Nichols taking direction in the directors chair, he served us up one thrilling and jaw clenching episode, I'm just not sure that loyal fans will be too pleased watching the characters they grew up with die one bye one.
