Ringer- She's Ruining Everything

Ringer has hit it off with high ratings since its premiere last week, but that truly is no surprise. We have been thrown into a world where there is no way out from the problems. Running away from her own life and her problems Bridget didn't stop to think that what she knew about Siobhan rarely scratched the surface of all the secrets she was hiding. After killing a man in self defense Bridget has no idea how to cover up her tracks. Through an hour long episode we watch anxiously as Bridget tries to hide a dead mans body from her best friend, who is trying to the bottom of her husbands affair, and from her husbands work cocktail party. In between that she is dodging the detective Victor, still faking a pregnancy (I wonder how she's going to pull that off), and bonding on emotional levels with her husband and his daughter Juliet.

What makes this show so intriguing is the raw emotion of the characters. Siobhans relationship with her husband has been falling apart pretty obviously (possible sexy co-worker threat?) and while we all thought Bridget was the messed up sister we see that Bridget would be a better wife than Siobhan was. Andrew points that out saying "It was like I had the old Siobhan back. Don't go away again." But what happened to Siobhan that she so drastically changed?

While plotting to run away with Malcolm, Bridget soon learns that she has to stay. After repeatedly running into Juliet, who is quite the hot mess, she see's a lot of her past in Juliet's actions- the drinking, the drugs, the need to feel accepted and loved. In some weird way she feels the need to help Juliet with her struggle and in that touching bathroom scene when she asks Juliet what she wants her to do Juliet replies "don't leave" and we have the making of a beautiful mother-daughter relationship.

Making up her mind that she is going to stay and tough it out for the people that need Siobhan she ditches Malcolm, but I think Malcolm is soon to have some problems of his own with a serial killer horror movie style flashing his lights at him in a parking lot.

As Bridget finally attempts to clean up the mess (aka the dead body) she realizes it has dissapeared from her clever hiding spot. Meanwhile real Siobhan is in Paris trying to withdrawal money from her account which Bridget conveniently took out the day before. She makes an angry  "This has to get done, She's Ruining Everything" phone call, but come on Shiv did you really think you would leave your sister and she would need your money? Whats she ruining? Who is the man that eerily crashed the party? What happened to the dead body? I just have so many questions.

Also, GREAT music choice today. I especially loved Little Deschutes by Laura Veirs. Seriously just added more goosebumps for me.
