The Vampire Diaries- American Gothic

"I think we just found Katherine."
If its one thing the Salvatore's cant do, its take a hint. How many times must Elena push them away for them to finally just give up? I get it, being persistent may hopefully help Elena turn her humanity on. But in the meantime there are going to be many casualties. I'm not complaining cause the more the brothers bond over Elena's "problem" the snarkier their comments get toward each other. The love just keeps bursting. Unfortunately, the thing with Elena is that she isn't blind to just how far away from herself she's really gone. She enjoys being the "bad bitch." Yet, this episode compared that she doesn't stand a chance next to Katerina.

Katherine's presence makes any episode worth watching because Katherine is brilliant. After 500 years of running, you kind of have to be, but still she plays rough. She found herself a small little town and compelled all the people in it to allow her to feed on them. She even compelled one of the towns folk to hold onto the cure for her. The trick that the people had no idea who Katherine was, if they weren't looking directly at her was very crafty. When Rebekah spoke, the townsfolk had no idea who Katherine was. When they saw Elena they remembered everything. But Katherine hasn't changed much anyways. Her disregard for any living or dead creature beyond herself is still present. She's up to her old manipulation. She's using Elijah, well rather his feelings for her, to have him bargain with Klaus. She has the cure only because its her guarantee at finally bargaining a deal with Klaus to set her free. I'm not sure why she's still so scared of Klaus. He hasn't been on her case since like season 2. He has much bigger things to worry about at this point. If she had known he needed the curse to survive though, she wouldn't have let Elijah just walk away with it. At this point no one needs the cure more than Klaus, whose being sabotaged by Silas.

It was really interesting to see the levels of hierarchy that played within the trio this week. Elena is obviously lowest on the chain. She may be a bad ass without her humanity, but compared to the other two, she was like a rabbit amongst tigers. She couldn't even fool Elijah into thinking she's Katherine because she lacks that Petrova spunk. Katherine is bigger, better and stronger than Elena, but not when Elena has her sidekick, Rebekah, an original. When it comes to brains though, Katherine has each and every one of her steps planned out. I was actually quite shocked to see how quickly Rebekah took the "cure." Despite how horrible being human is made out to be, she really just wants to live a plain Jane lifestyle. It didn't occur to her that the cure could have been fake or spiked, she just went for it. I was also surprised by Elijah and his dedication to finding the Katerina he fell in love with. So many years later and he still has hope that he could flip her switch back on.  It might have worked though because by the end, it really seemed like she turned a new leaf by giving Elijah the cure and letting him do with it as he pleased.  Will he give it to his sister, who really wants to be mortal, or return it to Klaus and ask for Katherine's freedom? He would be stupid to trust the broad, no matter how reformed she says she is.

While Katherine was doing some soul searching and trying to make amends with the people she "loves," Elena was just downright over it. She made it clear that she wasn't standing for any of this feelings crap, and she wasn't about to turn her humanity back on. This carefree life has gotten the best of her. Even Elijah's speech about compassion couldn't convince her. Damon won't stop fighting because he just want's Elena to feel again and hopefully feel for him. Stefan won't stop fighting because he feels personally responsible. Yet after repeating history time and time again, Stefan has the right idea of just letting it all go and living life up. What's the point of all their hard work when it just goes un-appreciated? Skip that Mystic Falls mumbo jumbo and go travel the world. At this point how to you go back to pretending none of this happened? That Elena didn't snap your neck in New York, that she didn't toy with your feelings, that she didn't steal your car, that she didn't kill people just for the fun of it. Yeah I'm talking to you Damon.

Silas is one scary and powerful creature. With the ability to become anything and anybody, while getting into people's minds is cryptic. He had Klaus convinced that a piece of the white oak ash was stuck in his body and was killing him slowly. From the promo's I had hoped that Klaus was shirtless for a much naughtier reason and Caroline wasn't trying to teach him a lesson, but tit for tat. Silas also took over Caroline's body (or was it just a hallucination) to scare Klaus into doing what he wanted, which leaves us wondering how else can he manipulate the rest of the gang? Caroline (the real one) came to Klaus's aid and  got his mind off of the pain, which ending up being all in his head. Their heated argument and the tension between those two. Whew is it hot in here? I longed for Klaus to just grab her and kiss her, but i'll be patient. She's still trying to bargain for Tyler's freedom. Clearly, its not an easy thing to do. If Caroline (whom Klaus loves) can't seem to convince him, I don't see how Elijah could. Except for the fact that Elijah has the cure, which is the one thing keeping Klaus safe from Silas. Although if Silas were to kill Klaus, everyone he turned would also die with him. Silas would than do his spell that destroys the other world and everyone would come back to life. Doesn't it all come full circle? Yes, I assume there is a catch.

All in all, the episode was a nice little reunion. The cure is like a hot potato, bouncing from one person to the next. Each person has motives and ulterior motives for taking/ giving up the cure but its ultimate destination; Klaus. They also have so sides to them, you could literally peel them back like an onion to uncover new personality traits. The plot with Bonnie was left untouched. For all we know she's sitting at home with her father clueless about anything that's happening.  Elena cannot be saved, although the episode implied that the brother's wont try until they succeed. Katherine is back and I'm glad to say that she is still way better than Elena at life. The plot line with the cure is slowly starting to fizzle out. Either Silas gets it or he doesn't. What else could possibly happen? With all the originals back in town, I sense the pilot is coming up really soon. Possibly when the show picks up April 18? Prom is a big time in a girls life, especially when you're a vampire. Caroline will definitely plan a kick ass prom, but who will she go with? Klaus? Will Elena take both Salvatore brothers? Will Rebekah finally get to go to a school dance properly? Festivities are usually a time when things really hit the fan in Mystic Falls.  The possibilities are endless, just as long as we don't end up with a dead prom queen.

Memorable Quotes

  • Rebekah: Why are we stopping?
    • Elena: We searched three cities in the last 24 hours. I'm sick of top 40 radio and I smell like leather.
  • Rebekah: Conniving little bitch compelled the whole town!
  • Damon: Remind me to send her some mini muffins.
  • Damon: Screw the mini muffins, I'll get champagne.
  • Damon: Elena without humanity is a stone cold bitch and I won't trust her till we get the old Elena back.
  • Rebekah: I couldn't agree more. You've chosen a beautiful place to die.
  • Katherine: So sad for the boys though. Their special snowflake of human frailty; gone.
  • Damon: That guy got his neck snapped in New York and this guy is royally pissed off.
  • Rebekah: You're loosing your touch evil one.
  • Caroline: Oh you do have a heart. Oh my bad its just a bloody rib.
  • Damon: Wow a quilt and a fish aquarium. Who the hell are you?
  • Damon: Did it ever occur to you that your not that deep?
  • Damon: Sorry Rebekah didn't have a pony to distract her.
  • Elijah: It'd be a shame if the world lost a soul as compassionate as yours.
    • Elena: Your compassion is a gift Elena. Carry it with you always and forever.
  • Katherine: Oh come on she could use a nap. It must be exhausting being me.
  • Damon: I had a moment of weakness Stefan. Thats my thing. Its like me and you falling for the same girl. Its our thing.
    • Stefan: Was our thing.
  • Elijah: You don't have a smart brother. Turn's out I'm just as stupid as the rest of you.

ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars Spinoff- Ravenswood

The secret has been reveAled. No, not who A is, but that ABC family is following in The CW's lead and creating a spin-off of its largely successful show, Pretty Little Liars. With the announcement of Ravenswood, ABC Family also announced that PLL has been picked up for a 5th season. Yeah, after that finale it better have been picked up or there would have been a million angry fans.

So when can we expect Ravenswood and what can we expect from it? Ravenswood, created by PLL executive producers, Marlene King, Oliver Goldstick, Joseph Dougherty, and Leslie Morgenstein, will piggy back off of the annual PLL Halloween episode in October. Ravenswood is a small town in PA, right next to Rosewood, that has been suffering from a long and deadly curse. Five strangers will come to investigate the occurrences when they find themselves personally affected.

If your like me and you like spoilers and trying to figure out what will happen before it happens, you might want to look into Google and see that a movie called Ravenswood already exists and it is about a girl who went missing 10 years before hand and in 2012 a sheriff decides to look for her. Marlene King teased that someone in fact is missing in the beginning of the show. Maybe thats where the idea stemmed from?

Will this show be another all girl casting or will the group of 5 strangers be mixed? Who would you like to see as part of the new Ravenswood team??? Will any of the PLL stars be connected? What will this deadly curse be? Will the show feature anything mystical (like The Vampire Diaries) or will it solely follow a pattern that PLL has followed: ugly and confusing twist and turns that keep our brains churning. Will the two towns ever connect?

With so much buzz and excitement around Pretty Little Liars and The Vampire Diaries, are producers taking things too far by creating spin-offs?? First, TVD creates The Originals. Now PLL creates Ravenswood. Will fans get bored and need something new? My guess; no. The writers are very talented and creative and the idea of Ravenswood is recycled but fresh at the same time. With The Originals, that idea could go down the toilet really quickly, as there can only be so much happening with the mystical world until it all starts to make absolutely no sense and fall into "The Secret Circle."

Here's who I'd like to see in Ravenswood.

Sarah Hyland of Modern Family. Although she's already 21, she fits the description of what I think a girl from Ravenswood would definitely look like. ( I mean have you seen the girls in Rosewood?) Those big bug eyes and that Alison charm. Yep. She's a dead ringer for Ali with a flair of Mila Kunis.
Jason Earles, better known as Jackson on Hannah Montana. Come on, you have to have a career after that show. Plus that blonde hair, those blue eyes, he's like Toby. Granted he's married and 34, but ABC family has a way of making people much younger than they really are.
Coming off of Nickelodeon and straight to ABC family would be a neat transition for Victoria Justice. Plus, I'm sure the producers would love her with her keen resemblance to TVD star Nina Dobrev.

Hunter Parish. The 23-year-old actor has the look that could transform him from Showtimes Weeds right to Ravenswood, PA. Just look at that brood.

Brie Larson is a 20-year-old-actress that can be seen on United States of Tara. With that blonde hair, you wouldn't expect her to perform pop rock on the side. Maybe she can find some time to take a trip to Ravenswood.

Who would you like to see on Ravenswood this October?

Red Widow- The Recorder

"Even dangerous people need reason to kill."
My predictions were right and the Russian mafia proved it; Schiller has the hots for Marta. While she proved to be trustworthy and capable to Schiller on this weeks Red Widow, she also is putting herself in grave danger. Its one thing if your drug lord boss has jobs for you, its another when he has the hots for you. It will end up causing him harm because he will let his guard down eventually and Marta will either take advantage of that or fall in love with him as well. There is only one thing that Schiller's been successful at doing and that's taking Marta out of her comfort zone.

I take back everything I said about trusting the cops. While they want to protect Marta, sending her in to Schiller's office bugged is just dumb and way too risky. They want her to help them build a case against Schiller, but if he had found that out, he would have shot her right than and there. For now he needs her because the only reason's he's getting any shipments is through her. She's persuasive, but she also has Petrova blood and that intimates people. I have to give this girl props, while she's being a mom and taking care of her kids with mediocre life problems, she's also living this double life. What is stupid though, is allowing the drug smuggling to happen on your marina and than taking your little son's class on that same marina. Stupid. Just thoughtless. That place is crawling with dangerous people. But, that stupid move revealed the location of the stolen coke. If Marta can give all of that back to Schiller, maybe he will let her off. Yeah, I doubt it too, but it was worth a try. She's too deeply involved and too knowledgable about Schiller to be able to make a run for it now.

Her father hates rats and he's ruthless. He acts surprised that Evan was working with the police, but he is also trying to convince Marta that Schiller is responsible for her husbands murder. In reality, I don't think thats the truth. I think that her father is responsible for her husbands murder, I just don't know why. Was Evan a threat to him? Did he know he was working with the police? Both the father and his security guard act way too intimidated by the picture and the fact that Boris is remembering things from that night.

The relationship drama is actually what adds spice to the drama. Mike dug himself into a huge hole and his only way of getting out was working with Marta on those shipments. Without the money and the missing coke, he's basically done for. Dina did a smart thing by leaving him because as much as it hurt her, she would eventually end up being ransom or something for her husbands mistakes. Young love in the air, fueled by hormones is always troublesome. Gabriel is experimenting with not only sex, but drugs, with his older girlfriend. Gabriel is an interesting character because he takes care of his family, but at the same time has to grow up and experience things for himself during this confusing time. I'm sure sex and drugs aren't the answer, but it brings back Marta into the "real" world, with children being children. If I was a mother I would never allow that girl back into my house because of her horrible influence on my kids. She's around so much, I feel like she knows too much and she's actually woking for someone.

The most surprising relationship was that of Kat and Agent Ramos. While Kat's wedding was just weeks ago she's already feeling like it was a mistake. She seems like one of those free spirits that met someone an than just hopped on the wedding train. She regrets her marriage cause her husband isn't understanding. He doesn't accept when she's helping her sister through a hard time. She can't tell her husband about anything going on in her life and she finds a deeper connection with agent Ramos, who deals with drug lords and families all the time. She secretly has had a crush on him, but when he was sitting there feeling horrible about not being on watch when Evan got shot because his wife was overdosing, that was the part that got her. He really feels like its his fault Evan died. He puts his life on the line for the Petrova/ Walraven family despite all that he has to deal with at home, which is a wife that loves drugs more than him. He works to protect people from it, because he knows what happens because of it.

Next week looks to be quite interesting because Natalie gets kidnapped. Why someone is targeting Marta's children is beyond me. Could it be Mike trying to get revenge on Marta for firing him? No one else really has it out for Marta and we can rule out that its Schiller because in the preview she calls him for help. I'm really rooting for this show and hoping it doesn't get pulled off the air because the storyline seems promising. There are definitely faults and loopholes with the plot and characters that need more development, but I feel that once it picks up momentum, we will see the improvement.

Memorable Quotes

  • Schiller's father: I want to look her in the eye and see is she's trustworthy.
    • Schiller: She isn't.
    • Schiller's father: Slave labor never is.
  • Alexandra De Costa: This is a celebration
    • Schiller: What's the occasion?
    • De Costa: Its Tuesday.
  • Alexandra: You were married to long to see how another man looks at you but be very careful. If he has feelings for you he will hate you for it.

Revenge- Victory

"In the art of war, if you know the enemy and you know yourself, you need not fear the approaching battles."
Oh Revenge. Every episode just reveals siblings that we never knew about.  Eli's presence on the show ended up to be short lived and in a way just there to move the storyline along to much bigger and better things. While Emily is gifted in the art of knowing everything about herself and her enemy, she's able to come out on top in most battles. But it was also revealed that if you don't know just how serious you're enemy is or you underestimate them, you end up loosing in the darkest of ways.

Throughout the episode it seemed like Eli was playing on multiple fronts. He was working with Victoria to include his old foster mother in the charity. Hayword house is where Amanda and Eli grew up and had horrible memories, yet Eli wanted to honor their foster mother. This was all just a lie, so that he could expose who she really was, what she really did to these children and get back the letters from Amanda's father that she hid from her. It was revealed that Eli had actually started the fire in that house and let Emily take the blame for it, letting her go to juvie and basically throwing her life into the whirlwind that it has been. Maybe if she hadn't gone to juvie, she would have been able to save her father. But things happen for a reason and Eli came to make amends for his mistakes. Eli's actions exposed the truth, made Victoria look bad, put the Hayword house under investigation and got Emily an envelope that led her straight to Treadwell. Treadwell is still in jail, a place that only Emily can get him out of, so he has motive to give her the answers she's looking for. Unfortunately, the letters from her father burned down when Emily set his house on fire, but Treadwell slipped up that Victoria had another son, a first born, that she had also put into a foster home. That means there is another Grayson that Victoria has "forgotten" completely about. Or is he a Grayson? Maybe he's a Clarke? Does he know anything? Does he want revenge as well??

Victoria doesn't really need to ruin another child's life. She does that enough with her own son Daniel, whose clearly already loosing it, yet she manages to push him even further. She's obviously aware that Daniel has been telling Emily everything, or she's at least suspicious of it. She also knows that she can manipulate her son into doing whatever she wants as long as he thinks that something might happen to the girl that he loves; Emily. She sends him a picture, anonymously, of him and Emily on their "secret" meeting reserved under Taylor, with two bullets. Daniel freaks out, thinking this is probably the work of the initiative. But how far will Daniel go to protect Emily? How far will Victoria go to push her son or initiate a threat on her neighbor??

While Emily is dealing with her step brother, Nolan and Aiden are dealing with the initiative. They desperately want the program Carion, which is surprising because if they are in fact working with the Falcon, couldn't he just whip up something like Carion? Nolan refers to the Falcon as the only person that's better at this than Nolan. So what does the initiative need out of Carion? Nolan and Aiden attempt to protect Padma when she meets with them to give the program over, but are unsuccessful cause the initiative is always a few steps ahead. Now Padma is missing along with her father. The initiative leads Nolan and Aiden to a location where they find the turtle head with the tracking device that was attached to the usb of the program. They knew all along. Did it not occur to any of them that the initiative could have their offices bugged? They talked so openly about all of this that its no surprise they were onto them. Now, Nolan has to decode the programming where the text messages are coming from, but maybe thats what the initiative wants. They clearly want to go after Nolan and maybe abducting Padma is their only way of getting to him. Either way, the love Nolan has for Padma will be his driving force to find her and free her. I just hope she wasn't playing him all this time.

Jack Porter is making deals with the devil. His manhunt for Kenny allowed him to get some recordings that happen between the other Ryan brother and Conrad Grayson, where Conrad basically tells him to kill Jack. This takes the heat off of Emily and Nolan, but leaves Jack yearning to make Conrad pay for the death of his wife. He knows now the only reason the brother was on the boat and ready to kill is because of Conrad's orders. I'm not really sure what Jack's plan is but he accepted Conrad's proposal to join his campaign team. I'd love to see this guy take down the Grayson's single handedly. They really deserve it. Although Conrad's intentions weren't to kill Amanda, he isn't too sad about it. He got rid of a girl who was blackmailing him with evidence that could corrupt him and his family and he got to make money out of the whole ordeal, while looking like a good samaritan on his campaign. Jack's probably going to get close to him and try to find some evidence of monetary exchange between Grayson and Ryan in order to prove that he is the one that initiated the death of his wife.

While everything is interesting and setting up for a crazy ride, I'm excited to see how Emily handles the orphan brother. Her smile at the end when she found out the secret was beyond wicked. It was pure evil with a hint of vengeance. Will she shove him down Victoria's throat or blackmail her in style? Obviously, a masquerade ball is the perfect place to reveal this new found son. Victoria just has a bundle of secrets, but this won't be a bundle of joy, it'll be a bundle of unanswered questions. While the writing has been decent on the past few episodes, I think this new revelation will really spice things up and hopefully the end of the initiative is on its way.

Memorable Quotes

  • Emily: In the art of war, if you know the enemy and you know yourself, you need not fear the approaching battles. But if you only know yourself and not your enemy, for every victory there will also be defeat.
  • Aiden: The only way to save Padma is to let her go.
  • Padma: You better be walking down that beach seconds later.
    • Nolan: I'll be running.
  • Emily: Do you have any idea what lighting that fire did? My whole life could have been different Eli!
  • Emily: Victoria? She has another son?
    • Treadwell: I imagine you'll exploit this fresh little morsel with your usual flair.
    • Emily: You can't even begin to imagine.

The Vampire Diaries- Because the Night

"Don't underestimate the allure of darkness. Even the purest of heart are drawn to it."
Lets take a walk down memory lane. The Vampire Diaries takes New York. And not in the fashion I imagined. This was not a romantic getaway for Damon and Elena but rather Damon's continued hunt for the cure and Elena's attempt at fleeing from the brothers who are trying to help her. This proves that he really is a good guy. I can't say despite his love for Elena cause its thanks to his love for Elena that he wants to help her and fix her. Stefan isn't the only one that has been through a "humanity off" phase in his life. We got a little bit more insight to the Damon that turned off his humanity because of Katherine and understood a little deeper the impact that Lexi had on Damon's life. We always thought she was Stefan's friend, but for awhile she tried helping Damon. Ultimately, it led to her death in season one. Damon knows that once you get that humanity switch back on, you will regret everything you've ever done while you were on your evil binge so he's trying to make Elena understand that despite how good she feels with everything off, she can't live this way. The theme of "what goes around, comes around" is largely at play in this episode. Karma's a bitch, right Damon?

Elena is over it all and this makes for an interesting pairing; a power team if you will. Rebekah and Elena, the two that hated each other. Now, with Elena's humanity off, their kind of badass together. Clearly, without Elena sired to Damon, she doesn't really care about him at all. She tries to manipulate him with the same tricks that Damon used on others back in the day. She lets Rebekah snap his neck and steals his car to go hunt down Katherine. So from my understanding, Elena wants to find Katherine before Damon or Stefan do, so they don't get the hands on the cure, while Rebekah wants the cure for herself. Obviously Damon's little pep talk about how great it is to be a vampire didn't really work for Rebekah, who wants to have a family. Despite being a vampire for so long, she really has dreams and hopes for herself that go beyond being a strong and eternally young vampire, that can't really be killed. Yeah, I'm not sure what she's thinking either.

Klaus and Caroline; will they ever get together?? Klaus's statement about the darkness being alluring to even the purest of hearts applied a whole lot to this episode. Caroline thinks so highly of herself and so low of Klaus. Sure, he's had his fair share of wrong-doings and he's a pretty evil guy, but he's also been alive for decades and he's learned not to take anyones crap. He made Tyler leave and that has to do more with his love for Caroline and want to be with her than it is because of the fact that Tyler made it his life's mission to kill him. Everyone at some point in the show has made it their life's mission to kill Klaus. You don't see him throwing everyone out of town. But Caroline's strong suit is being judgmental. She's the reason 12 people, or rather witches, died. Of course, she couldn't let Bonnie die. It's her best friend. But she killed the 12 people to complete the triangle and give Silas the power to unleash all hell on earth.

By doing this, we also got to see that there is someone more powerful than Klaus roaming the streets of Mystic Falls now and that Klaus does in fact feel fear when it is present in his life. Klaus must now make a decision; protect himself or protect the others around him. His sister is the one with the lead on the cure. The cure is all that Silas is missing in his plot to destroy the other world. Will Klaus sell out his sister in order to keep his life? Or will this be a case of what goes around comes around and Klaus will run, leading into the first episode of "The Originals." As excited as I am for the spin-off show it means that Klaus and Caroline won't be and that makes me kind of upset. Yet, it sets up the scene for a possible Caroline and Stefan relationship. Unless Damon and Stefan are able to get the cure before Elena and Rebekah and they force it down Elena's throat. Than the Stefan and Elena relationship will once again dominate. If they don't get the cure, but are able to turn Elena's humanity on, she will once again be sired to Damon and they can live happily ever after. But are any of her feelings and emotions even real at this point??

Why doesn't Bonnie remember anything? Was this the work of the witches, who tried to clear her from expression and possibly succeeded? Or was this Sila's plan all along? But if Bonnie doesn't remember anything, and everyone else does its kind of a weak plan, right? I mean all the bad things Bonnie has done have been erased from her mind. Yet, Silas doesn't need her help anymore. He has everything he needs to execute his plot. Maybe this is his way of keeping Bonnie safe? But if he does need Bonnie again, and the witches erased her memory, maybe she isn't capable of expression anymore? Bonnie's character has taken a dark turn this season and I'm kind of annoyed that she's just being used left and right by people without any control. Come on girl, you are a witch. You have more power than half those people in Mystic Falls. If you use it properly, you could really do some damage. The whole idea of being a victim is what I consider Bonnie to be and I know she's stronger than that.

So basically, Damon got played. He's on the outs with Elena who outsmarted him. She teamed up with Rebekah to hunt down Katherine and get the cure. Next weeks promo's look awesome as evil Elena face evil Katherine in a curly hair vampire show down. Yeah, it will be epic. Will Katherine give the cure to Elena? Will Damon and Stefan be able to trace her? What will happen with Klaus and Silas? Will Silas get to the cure first? Silas and Klaus are two people that Katherine is completely afraid of. If they are able to get to her, than its over for the girl. Both brothers failed in their missions today, which brings them closer together. Do you think there is even a point in Elena trying to get a relationship back with either brother. Their so far down this rabbit hole of "he said, she said, he did, she did" that its kind of pointless. Elena's a mixture of both brothers as a vampire, but with her emotions off, she doesn't really care for either one. And if Silas succeeds, what will happen when all the supernatural creatures are brought back to earth? Can we really see the return of Jeremy? Is this the reason Klaus will flee Mystic Falls? Will all the people he's killed and scorned come after him?? Until next week folks!

Memorable Quotes

  • Will: You're the serial killer aren't you? Son of Sam.
    • Damon: Son of Giuseppe, but close enough.
  • Damon: You wanted out, I got you out. You wanted to feed, I brought you to a city sized buffet.
  • Stefan: Where is she now?
    • Damon: She's out exploring.  Maybe she's eating a hot dog.. vendor.
  • Rebekah: You're playing him.
    • Elena: No he's playing me. I'm just returning the favor.
  • Rebekah: You just made me miss the old Elena.
  • Lexi: Because you loved her and love is the most powerful emotion.
  • Caroline: Do you even know how to read a map?
    • Klaus: Yes. And you know who taught me? My friend Magellan.
  • Damon: You really think that was going to work? The sex, the temptation, the booze? Are you kidding me? I invented that trick.
  • Damon: Everyday your like this is a day you might do the one thing you can't take back.
  • Klaus: You look like your in need of comfort. Why don't you go find someone less terrible.

Justin Timberlake- Mirrors Exclusive on The CW

"Your my reflection, all I see is you. My reflection, in everything I do."

The Justin Timberlake special that aired on tonights CW was actually the same interview that aired on last nights KISS FM radio stations. My blog post from earlier talked a little bit about that and the interview with Ryan Seacrest.

Thankfully, the Iheartradio special did provide us with the exclusive first look at Mr. Timberlake's emotional music video for his second single off of his album The 20/20 Experience, "Mirrors."

The video really reminded me of Alice in Wonderland where people are gazing through a looking glass. Basically, it follows a couple thats reminiscing on how they met and how they were when they were younger. It goes through the good stages and the bad stages and in the meantime shows them being reflections of each other. They mirror each others actions and movements as if in time they had grown to be one person. At least, that's the interpretation that I can take from the video, that the older couple is getting sentimental reliving the past. Their looking through mirrors in this one room or through fun house mirrors as if into the past. Anyways the video has many messages.

The beginning was dedicated to William and Sadie, which are actually JT's grandparents. William passed earlier this year and the video is a dedication to the love that they shared. It makes it even more special and explains the ending where the man and woman are coming together and he suddenly just dissapears. The lady than takes off her wedding ring and throws it down. Justin catches the ring and starts dancing amongst other mirrors and fun house looking creatures, to which he shares a mirror-like connection as well. The video shows many levels of depth, but a wide range of generations. In a way, its like a timeline of events that led up to the birth of JT, a pop sensation and legend, which his grandparents must be proud of.

While most of the songs on Timberlake's newest album are dedicated to love, its refreshing to see that the love he's referring to isn't only to his new wife, Biel. Many of Jt's older videos have an emotional in depth connection, but this one tops them all.  Justin also revealed that this is only part one of his album, so stayed tuned folks, another round of really incredible Pop/R&B with Timbaland flavor is on its way!

Pretty Little Liars- A dAngerous gAme

"All things truly wicked start from innocence."
The girls are seeing red. Everywhere! Hands down one of the craziest season finales of Pretty Little Liars ever!!! The writers and producers sure now how to keep the suspense coming, twisting plot lines and skewing the perceptions between whats real and whats just a dream. Who is good and who is evil??? Whose working on what team?? The real shocker, aside from finding out who red coat is, was that the person calling all the shots for at least two seasons, ended up in the exact same boat as the little liars.

Yes, Spencer joined the A-team but only because she's always one step ahead of everyone else. Just cause she went to Radley doesn't mean she lost any of her brains. When Spencer encountered Mona at Radley she found out that Toby was in fact, still alive. Mona promised she would let Spencer see him, if she joined the A-team. Meaning she needed to help Mona get all the girls into one place at one time so that red coat could finally get what she's been waiting for. Mona referred to it as "they'll get whats coming to them" but whats really coming to them?  It seems like "red coat" is looking for revenge, but when that time actually came, red coat supposedly helped the girls out?

Toby is in fact alive. Mona keeps her word. When Spencer stole Malcolm from his karate class (ha I was right), she proved to Mona that she really was reliable and trust-worthy. When Mona left Spence alone in the "lair" Spence arranged a meeting with Toby. As Toby thought he was meeting with Mona, he stumbled upon Spencer. A new, dangerous and more carefree Spencer; a courtesy of the heavier eye-makeup. Oh the difference a little bit of black around the eyes can do. Toby admitted that he played along with Mona's scheme of pretending to be dead in the forest. It was "A's" plan all along. Toby also confessed that the reason he was on the A-team was only to protect Spencer. They left together to a hidden motel, that only Toby knew about and proceeded to have a beautiful night together. The writers have a way of making these on-screen relationships really powerful. After everything that Spencer has been through; thinking her boyfriend had betrayed her, thinking he was dead, ending up in a mental institute, she really deserved a night of pure bliss. And seeing pretty eyes cry in her arms after realizing just how much pain he put her through while trying to protect her was truly heart breaking. Its okay Toby. We forgive you!!!

Hannah took a job babysitting Malcolm and found out that Spencer was in fact the girl that stole him from karate class. This led the girls to the revelation that Spence was on the A-team. To test their friends loyalty, they dressed Hannah up in a red jacket and led Spencer to a bathroom with the idea that if she followed the fake red coat it meant that she obviously didn't know who red coat was and was still on their side. That's when Spencer told them about everything she's been up to and the plan for Friday. Honestly though, for the girls to turn up the music when scheming in their own kitchens and than talk openly in a public bathroom about Spence pretending to be on the A-team and than concocting a plan to take down red-coat, was just plain stupid.

Friday comes and Spencer is with Toby and Mona, pretending that she's calling the girls to come to the "party." At this time the girls are already inside of the house, hoping to get in before red-coat can spot them. Mona than tells Toby to "take care of Spencer" and he pretends that he's taking her outside and getting rid of her. You now in the sense that she's been used for all she's worth and now she's no longer an asset, but a liability. While Spencer and Toby are out, the girls corner Mona. Toby and Spencer separate, as the plan is for Spencer to go to the plane the red-coat is landing in and see who red coat is without being seen.  We found out earlier that Toby doesn't know who red coat is either, all he knows is that she is the big boss.

But someone else is also involved in this scheme. Earlier in the episode we see that Jenna is back in town and she is working with Shawna. She also gets a text from "A" telling her of a meeting place. Later on in the episode we see Melissa also go to Jenna's house where the three girls talk about the "party" and mutter "the bitches will all be there." I'll get back to this point in a second, I promise. But that being said, someone ends up lighting the house on fire, trapping Aria, Emily, Hannah and Mona inside. It can't be red-coat because she's landing in her private plane at the time. It also can't be Spencer, whose spying on her and it can't be Toby because he gets knocked out by the same person who lit the house on fire. So that leaves one of the three, Jenna, Melissa or Shawna to have lit the house on fire.

While Spencer is in the enchanted forest trying to get a better look at A, she thinks she see's Alison. The girls are burning in the house and Mona reveals that she also doesn't know who red-coat is. Honestly people, you work for this crazy person and you never even try to figure out who it is. Once the smoke and flames knock all the girls unconscious, we see them get dragged out of the fire and than Hannah see's Alison looking at her. After they all gain consciousness, Mona runs up revealing that Alison dragged her out of the burning house. Everyone's pretty much convinced Ali is alive. I mean, this isn't the first time we have pondered on that idea but now we know that red-coat has access to her own plane, and in older episodes when we saw flashbacks to the day Ali supposedly died, she was on flying. Flying was her way of escaping. On the drive home, awkwardly with Mona, the girls question how she never saw the face of red-coat and she reveals that she's always worn a mask that looked exactly like Ali. Well could she have been wearing a mask this time and everyone just wants to see Alison or is Ali really alive??? I don't think a mask could really look exactly like a person, but people can hallucinate in times of grave danger and stress. We've seen the mask Mona is talking about, but would Radley really let people in with masks. It doesn't matter if Wren let CeCe in, which it could very well be CeCe. But even if Mona didn't see the face, wouldn't she recognize the voice. Everything she says just isn't believable. I think Mona knows exactly who she's dealing with. Plus when she they were all dragged out, she was running from the burning house desperate to make everyone believe that it was Ali. Honestly, she's a compulsive liar; a good one, but we can't fall into her trap.

I'll get off on a little tangent, cause blogging about Pretty Little Liars is never really easy. Its like trying to explain a really complicated maze. After literally a whole season without Jenna, she has finally returned and apparently with a vengeance. I spoke briefly about the trio that I believe is responsible for the fire. Their obviously suspicious and Emily heard them speaking with a motive that might have been to kill the little liars. Why? We're still not sure. I mean Jenna has a reason I guess, but why the other two? I mean, Shawna is new in town. But the trio gets even more suspicious. On the drive home, the little liars and Mona see Wilden's car. Clearly someone pulled it out of the lake. Let's not ask how thats possible or how the computer with the video is still working, but aside from revealing that Ashley hit Wilden, we see that Shawna and Jenna were the ones that took Wilden off the road and possibly helped him? But how are they at all involved with Wilden? Why were they at the scene of the crime? Coincidence or by choice? Could this be an extension of the NAT team? why is it all connected to Ali?? And why are they after the girls?

This also gets into who the hell is the A-team anymore? I mean, Toby was only in on it to protect Spencer. Spencer was only on it for a second. Mona really didn't call any of the shots she just listened to big boss. But was she really A? At the end of the episode, the girls see something shocking and disturbing in Wilden's trunk, which was obviously the finale and we must wait to find out what it is. They also get a text from A and by them I mean everyone plus Mona. That means she isn't sending the texts signed A. Maybe she hasn't been for awhile. Red-coat is calling all the shots, but it seems like there are two teams fighting against each other and to sabotage the liars. Yet, does red-coat want to kill or sabotage the liars? I mean, if it was in fact Ali who is red-coat and who pulled them out of the fire, than that argument is invalid. Is she acting as their guardian angel to protect them from the trio, that I actually think is the real A-team sending threats and working against the liars? Mona has suddenly fallen from the crazy to the used and abused. She was mainly a puppet on strings and now she's back on the other side, not on the A-team.

I already touched upon the Toby and Spencer relationship. Caleb was nowhere in sight this week, which could be suspicious or he could just be out looking for his father and trying to make amends. Than again where is Caleb and Paige? They have been kind of suspicious this season and Paige does have a past with Shawna. But the couple that really killed me was Ezra and Aria. Obviously, we saw them crashing and burning (no pun intended) for awhile now, but Aria finally got the bravery to tell Ezra that whatever they had burned out and they needed to move on. It was hard to watch because I'm not sure if she's doing it out of her own feelings or her fear that A will get the best of their relationship or potentially hurt his son? Is she really threatened by Maggie when Ezra is clearly not taking a job because he wants to be with her? Than when she tells him its over, he grabs her passionately into his arms as if its the last time he could ever do that, and she still walks away. Why?? The passion clearly didn't die out for either of them. Its clearly really hard for both of them. You can see that when he comes in as her substitute teacher and the way they look at each other. Whats the point of this torture?? I am and forever will be an Ezria believer. Plus, Ezra has a point, she's graduating in seven months. They made it this far, they can totally tough it out.

So now we're left with answered questions that leave us with more questions. How's that even possible? I'm not sure. But what did you guys think of the finale? Do you think that Toby really is trust worthy again? Will Ezra and Aria find a way back to each other eventually? Are Caleb and Paige potentially on the A-team? Who is the A-team anymore? What's up with Jenna, Shawna and Melissa? Why are they all working together? Who is red-coat? Could it really be Ali? Is she really A??? Did the girls all just have hallucinations? Was Mona really on the other side of the tracks this time or was this all part of A's game? Are the girls suppose to trust Mona now? What do you think was revealed in Wilden's trunk?? Could this show get any crazier?? I don't dare ask. Till next season my loves! Hats off to everyone working on the production of #PLL. You really give me a thrill each and every week.

This song was seen when Spencer and Toby made love at the motel!

Justin Timberlake Day on The CW

Today is officially Justin Timberlake day, which makes me really happy because I feel that order is being restored in the universe when Justin Bieber won't be the top Justin anymore.

"The 20/20 Experience" is out in stores today, with Target carrying a special deluxe edition of the album featuring two extra songs.

While Justin Timberlake has been making plenty of TV appearances in honor of his album; SNL, a week with Jimmy Fallon, he is heading directly for The CW today for his album release party. The special titled, "Target Presents the IHeartRadio Album Release Party With Justin Timberlake" is just another example of Timberlake's powerful marketing skills.

Not only is this his comeback, a musical masterpiece that fans have waited for, for 6 years, but its also being introduced to the teens that love the CW and might not be fully committed to the star. In other words, its reaching an audience that is captivated by the Biebs, when they should be captivated by the Timberlake.

So why tune into the show? Well Justin Timberlake will be premiering a new music video for one of his songs (Mirrors) during the special as well as explaining a little about the making of the album.

For Justin Timberlake, overexposure just does not exist. On last nights special which aired on Kiss FM and was hosted by Ryan Seacrest, Justin Timberlake cleared up some rumors. Not only are we blessed enough to get the highly anticipated album today, but it is just part one of two!!!! Makes sense. Ten songs on this album, ten songs on part two for a total of 20!!! There is no word on when the second part will be coming out, but if that means double the music and double the concerts, lets just say i'm in.

Red Widow- The Escape

"We live and die by our word."
Red Widow is picking up the pace and with Irvin out of prison, nerve wrecking moments are a dime a dozen. Although everything went wrong on Marta's first consignment, nothing about it was really hitting a nerve, making me anxious or fearful for her life. In comes in the really dumb brother, who makes poor life decisions and puts everyone in danger; now I'm worried. Instead of running as she had planned to, Marta ends up doing another deal with the devil thanks to her brother, who promises Schiller that he can get Orson to be their grower. One problem? Orson isn't on board Of course after a punch to the gut, a gun shot wounded man and some negotiation, Orson ends up on board. Good for Marta, if that's what you consider good nowadays.

My problem with Schiller is the way he lives his life at ease. He's genuinely happy having this control over people. People fear him and people risk their lives for him, granted he can kill them at any moment. He thrives off of his need to control and people suffer because of their lack of control in their own life. Marta lives in fear knowing she has no real power over her life and that she cannot protect her children. She never wants that for her kids. Obviously, the only option is running. Or sleeping with the enemy, which I think that's where this is going. See, Schiller has the hots for Marta and in some twisted way, she's going to be involved with him for more than just consignments. You have to do what you have to do to survive I guess.

That will and need to do anything to protect her children is something she clearly didn't inherit from her father. When he came to Schiller to ask for his daughters freedom, I believed he was a good man. Schiller agreed as long as he would give up his land and retire. He than came home and told Marta that he tried to persuade Schiller and it didn't work. Is money and drugs really that important that you would risk the well being and safety of your daughter? Well apparently. Although Marta doesn't know about the deal yet, I'm sure when Schiller slips up about it, it will drive a huge wedge between her and her father, which is exactly what Schiller wants.

Luther seems like a genuinely good man. Its funny because when you see all these drug dealers, they all have this huge line of protection, They have their men and they have security. Marta walks into this blindly and alone, but with Petrova instincts and she comes out of it alive, everytime. Luck of the Russian? I doubt it. She's got good intuition, which is what makes her very valuable to Schiller. Luther seems to truly want to protect Marta and I could see their relationship going to different places as well, but I'm also suspicious. Boris has been remembering things about his father's death. Natalie is drawing out the shoe that Boris remembers the killer wearing. When Luther see's this, he becomes very on edge and takes the drawing to "look into it." Could it be possible that Andrei and Luther were behind the shooting of Evan? Maybe they thought he was bringing danger to the family or he was a potential threat to Andrei's business? Schiller is definitely not behind it and there doesn't seem to be anyone else that would want Evan dead, given they all said he played it safe and was on good terms with many of his "employees."

Although, I think Irvin is probably the dumbest drug smuggler out thee, Mike is pretty pathetic in his coke addiction. Because of his gambling problems and his coke problems he's putting Dina in danger. It was sad to see how blind Dina was to the whole situation, but its even worse that Marta, her only friend doesn't just tell her the truth and keeps her in the dark. Mike is no good for Dina and he's just putting her in danger. Marta has a point that he should leave Dina before he puts her in some real harm. Maybe witness protection would be good for Dina, since Marta doesn't trust agent Ramos. I know as humans were always skeptical of the police. But is going in with the enemy really safer than just turning to the cops for help?? Why is she so not trusting of agent Ramos?? Could the fact that his wife is also addicted to heroin play a major role in why he's trying to save Marta from destruction? His need to help someone cause he couldn't help his wife?? Things are starting to pick up on Red Widow. Hopefully so are the ratings.

Revenge- Illumination

"Looking pretty good for a dead girl."
The theme of illumination that Emily brings up in the beginning was not only a metaphor for her childhood but also the amount of people that are finally seeing the truth or are beginning to get some light shed on recent events. Its really refreshing to see Jack finally take charge and try to figure out what really happened out there on the boat. Jack found out that Nolan was the one that bought the boat and dragged him to shore, figuring that he must have something to do with the evil Grayson's that Amanda was trying to bring down. Nolan confessed that the he couldn't take credit for saving him that night because the boat was registered to one of the Ryan brothers. I'm not sure if Jack believed him or not, but it looks like he won't stop digging until he gets to the bottom of this. As for Emily, I know her secret identity and the pact she made with Amanda would be tragic if it got out, but at some point I think Jack really deserves to know the truth. It might hurt him that his marriage was to a girl that wasn't really Amanda, but she owes it to him. She loved him when they were children and despite her romance with Aiden, she loves him now.

Of course the Grayson's never do anything whole-heartedly. The Amanda Clarke foundation is another scheme just like their foundation after the flight went down. The power couple are afraid that is the boat accident goes under investigation, they will come looking for them and they don't want their asset's frozen, so their hiding all their money in the foundation. Daniel, who keeps acting surprised every time his parents to something disgusting to another human being, has had enough. Conrad has Aiden as the treasurer of the foundation, just in case something goes awry, that way Aiden will also be involved in the scheme without knowing it and will be framed for stealing money. Daniel also hires Aiden as his father's successor in his corrupt company. I know Aiden is smart and he knows what he's getting into, but whats the reason that he wants to be so close to Grayson Global? As usual, Daniel is manipulated into going straight to Emily with his problems where he confesses that the whole foundation is a scam. Usually, Emily digs and digs for these things, but this was just Amanda sending her a little gift. With that information, Emily knows that she can bankrupt the Grayson's and without money, their nothing. No money, no power. Thank you Daniel.

Well, things cannot be that easy. One step forward though is always better than a few steps back. Nolan finally puts Carion to good use to try and hack the foundation and steal all the money but is blocked by a super hacker that Nolan recognizes was partially responsible for the demise of Emily's father. The Falcon. This opens up a new hunt and its refreshing to see that someone other than the initiative was at play. But what will Emily and Nolan gain out of finding out who the Falcon is? She already knows what happened to her father? How can she get revenge on a computer hacker??

Lastly, we're introduced to Eli James, Amanda's step brother who comes to town for Amanda's funeral and quickly realizes that Emily is actually Amanda. Now that her secret is out, she has to do everything to protect it. While Eli may have come without a mission at first, he's a kid that had quite the criminal record. Things are pretty comfortable for him here now, especially with the Grayson hospitality. And of course, Emily's need to make him leave town made him suspicious that she's up to something much worse than just trying to start over with a new name. He's intrigued. But how far will she go to keep her secret? This isn't easy because she has a special connection, a bond to Eli. She doesn't want to hurt him, but she can't have him stay there. How do you make someone leave without physically shutting them up. You know "two can keep a secret if one of them is dead." Theres a lot of truth behind that. If Eli were to talk, things could get really ugly for Emily. And yet, I think that would make for some spectacular TV. What would happen if Emily was finally outed?

As for the others, Padma is in seclusion until the initiative is convinced that she is on their side. The search for the Falcon has begun. Charlotte has some infatuation with Eli, enough to let her and Declan get in a fight over it. Emily has three men on her plate that she has "things" going on with. She's good at getting people to do what she wants, but does she know what she wants? Is Aiden her true love? Will she see the good in Daniel? Or will Jack eventually be her happy ending??? Next week's promo seems highly promising, as their dropping some big bombs. Can't wait. Check out the promo below.
