"But when you were with me it was something else and you had this look like I was the only person in the world that mattered to you, and I lived for that look... But tonight with Andrew, you were looking at him that way."
It seems its a lot harder to become someone else, even if you look exactly like the person and have known them all your life cause you never actually know someone fully do you? You can assume but there are hidden secrets, kinks, and actions. Bridget knew none of those things about Shiv but those around her seem to realize things like that she hates mean, loved to be spoiled on her birthday, and would never in a million years take the jitney.
Officer Machado is very persistent in finding Bridget and is onto Siobhan keeping a close eye on her. Following her to the Hampton's he confronts Gemma and reveals Shivs dark family secret to her. Gemma confronts her saying she is pretty hurt that they have been friends for 5 years and knew nothing about her even having a sister. It's like she doesn't know her at all... Ding Ding. The episode is guided along by flashbacks to various birthday when the sisters loved each other and shared a locket to when Shiv never wanted to see Bridget again. You can see Shiv is hurt when she pushes her sister away, so what has suddenly changed that she can be ice cold and plan a murder plot against her. Is it safe to assume this is all payback for "accidentally" killing her son? "I don't even recognize her anymore, Im ashamed of what she did."Although she said she forgived Bridget in the first episode im not quite sure that was ever the case.
Machado also confronts "Siobhan" about the recording found on the yacht the day Bridget went missing. If the real Bridget doesnt start tying up those loose ends, keeping her lies on track, and carrying her phone with her at ALL times things are going to get ugly quick. Another piece of advice... keep those huge secrets private ad discuss them in the safety of a private room. Shiv and Henry had a rather sentimental and heartbreaking convo about the past only to have his wife/her best friends intently listening a thin wall away. You would think they would invest some time to do this secretly by taking a walk on the beach or chatting in a closet rather then just openly talking for every passerbyer to get an earful. Then we have the altercation with Shiv and Gemma, who biotch smacked her and called her a whore (deserved!) we get another revelation, "Im not who you think I am. Im Bridget!" I mean detective Machado was just in your house 2 seconds ago questioning your motives and he is probably still lurking around. Now you have a nosy detective and a pist off best friend all up in your business and they both want explanations.
All in all I still want to know what the real Siobhan is up to and who is she working with? I think Bridget was really starting to develop feelings for Andrew and it was a mutual feeling, but I cant lie I am definitely excited to see his reaction when he finds out his wife has been sleeping with a friend. The Gemma- Bridget- Siobhan cat fight will also play out very interestingly. And how is she going to deal with the baby that clearly does not exist... and how will they deal with the baby that does exist? It would also be nice to follow up with Marcus. Is he dead? Are they still holding him as a prisoner and injecting him with drugs? I wonder if Machado has any spies in different countries. Will someone see Shiv in Paris and report a sighting. That would be an interesting spin off because they would assume it was Bridget. Hmmm. What a twisted world we have entered.
