What do you get when you put 6 witches in a binded circle? A whole lot of mayhem. This episode was action packed full of backstabbing, sexual tension and magic gone wrong. These teenagers have a lot of unresolved issues that mainly just focus on their jealousy of one another. Faye is jealous that Cassie has dark magic because she wants to do magic by herself as well. Diana is jealous that her ex Adam is in love with Cassie but she is also best friends with Cassie. These little jealousy issues are heightened with the addition of magic. When Faye decided to ask her voo-doo prince to help steal Cassie's dark magic she didn't think about the consequences or how this might affect anybody else. 

You would think that after seeing how a spell could go horribly wrong as Faye fed off of the circles powers, lit the gym on fire and caused all the ice sculptures to fall she would stop messing and trying to find new ways to gain her own power but no. After she stated that Cassie is the one with evil magic who chokes people with her mind and brings out demons that kill others she is still the bad seed of the circle, she runs back to her voo-doo guy in search for more ways to alienate herself from the rest and gain individual power. This is stupidity on Faye's part because voo-doo priest doesn't seem to be too trust-worthy and revealing to an outsider that one is a witch might not be in her best interest. How can you be sure he doesn't have an agenda of his own or isn't another witch-hunter? Meanwhile poor Cassie is left struggling with this powerful magic that seems to take a shape of its own. Without even trying to be evil she lights dresses on fire and does all this horrible stuff. The only way to control this magic is to find out more about her father, who he was and how dangerous this stuff really is. The only problem is that nobody is willing to talk about John Blackwell...

Diana and Melissa have started their friendship over again. After Diana lost Adam, she became friends with Cassie but we all know its kind of impossible to be best friends with your ex's new squeeze. Especially when Adam has no shame about asking Diana to convince Cassie its okay that she wants to be with Adam.. Guys really just don't have a clue do they? Plus Cassie's dark magic has begun to scare Diana the same way Faye's need for power has started to scare Melissa. As they both kind of come out of their "partners"shadows I think it will be interesting to see what this team up can bring to the table. They are both kind of the nerdy, shy girls so maybe their friendship will bring out the bad-ass side of both of them and take away their sadness.

Cassie is stuck is a love triangle amidst all her other problems. Since the very first episode she has been entranced by Adam and if what his dad says is true than they are destined to be together. When they finally kissed it was very passionate and there was definitely something more than lust there. Of course though that had to be interrupted by Jake walking down the stairs. So why is Cassie attracted to Jake as well. I mean he was obviously a witch hunter. He came into town with his eye on Cassie and although he helped her out previously is he still only attracted to her because she has dark magic? Her mother warned her that she has magic that other people are going to want and they will use her to get to it. I don't know if I fully trust Jake. I'm with Adam on this one there is something very off about Jake I just can't put my finger on it.
