First off let me apologize for my lack of reviews this week. It was my 21st birthday so I let myself slack off a bit and I haven't gotten around to watching anything except GG and TVD. But gosh I will never miss a Vampire Diaries post! The writers of this show need a huge applause for making villains look like friends, making us fans side with villains, and letting us openly accept that Elena is in love with two beautiful men. For someone that has been on Team Damon for so long now, I am internally conflicted. The chemistry that connects both couples is so strong that when Stelena has the spotlight im rooting for them, when Delena has the spotlight im cheering them on and when both men are at Elena's side, I cant help but drool and be super jealous of that broad.
Lets kind of gather our thoughts here and recap what the hell happened this week. Revelation number 1, Klaus is adorable. God who would have ever expected that one. With every other show there is always a girl with many guys but one soulmate. On the Vampire Diaries theres one girl, with multiple soul mates, namely Elena and Caroline. See I'm so team Tyler but how can any girl resist that English bad boy gone good charm. I mean literally here is sweet little Caroline waltzing with an immortal, whose gushing and raving about how beautiful she is and wooing her with little trinkets. The writers incorporated something unbelievable and made it a possibility. I betchu thats going to catch Tyler off guard when he comes back from physically training himself to disobey his "master" for the girl he's in love with, only to find out that his master and that girl and rendezvousing.
Theres a little bit of disappointment and lack of consistency in the fact that Doctor Fell was not featured nor were the murders really adressed. I understand that all of Mystic Falls was attending a killer party, but who the hell is killing people? Could it really possibly be Jeremy? Also, why was Bonnie not invited to the party. I think she deserves some credit for releasing the original witch. Without Bonnie's help she would have never gotten out of that coffin and than she would have never been able to enact her master plan, which by the way took me for a curve ball. It was fairly obvious that only someone completely retarded would forgive their immortal son after he's killed you. But when the plan came together that Ester wanted to kill all of her children instead of one that was pure genius. See the story line would be blatantly boring if Ester would just be able to kill her son because she was the original witch, but by binding all of her kids together and making sure that the minute one dies they all die, now that's extreme.
The worst part is that Elena has to be in between this family feud, basically signing everyone off to their death. She has to lie to Elijah who is probably the most honest member of that family and amidst all of that she is stuck between overprotected and on a heightened emotional roller coaster Damon and her non caring ex boyfriend Stefan. The battles over this girl just never seem to end. What seemed like the beginning of Delena was quickly shut down when Elena accidentally told Damon that he shouldn't love her. As she attempted to retrieve Stefan back Damon drowned his miseries in a bottle of liquor and shared a bed with the enemy, Rebekah. You know thats what I mean by twists. Rebakah just tried killing Elena, the girl Damon loves not even 24 hours ago and now he's rocking the bed with her. People, I understand keep your friends close and your enemies closer, but sheesh not that close. Does this mean Delena is finally over? Has she crushed Damon enough or has Stefan finally put her down for good and she will find comfort in Damon.
I'm interested in seeing how the storyline with Matt and Cole escalates and develops. Cole seems like the ignorant and impulsive type and poor Matt cannot fend or defend himself. Will a relationship with Matt and Rebekah develop or will Rebekah stay with Damon??? And why the hell cant Stefan feel? Why does feeling make him hurt? That's such a oxymoron, even for a vampire. He won't let her be happy with Damon but he wont let his feelings for her come out. So he hurts her by keeping her away from a potentially good boyfriend and by rejecting her attempts at helping him.
Lastly, after Ester attempted the spell the paper went up in flames? Does that mean the spell back fired? Why wouldn't it have worked? Is it wrong for a mother to kill her children? Have they all been bound together? It seems to me that in the next coming episodes the Salvator, Gilbert and Mikealson families will ultimately blend and unite as one. Who knows, maybe Klaus isn't even so bad after all. He doesn't seem to be bothering anybody at this point. Maybe all he needs is some love...

- Ester: I love my children but their an abomination. I betrayed nature when I created them. Now its my duty to kill them.
- Caroline: You don't connect with people because you don't even try to understand them.
- Damon: No I'm mad at you because I love you.
- Elena: Well maybe thats the problem.
- Stefan: She wants to kill her whole family? How's that for mother of the year.
- Damon: Rejected by the captain of the football team. Welcome to adolescence.
