Gossip Girl News

As if getting married in real life wasn't enough, Blake Lively's fictional character on Gossip Girl is rumored to be getting hitched in the upcoming final season.
The CW finally released an official promo for season 6 and it goes a little something like this: Serena returns with a new man played by 7th Heaven's Barry Watson, who thinks that her name is actually Sabrina. Chuck and Blair do the dirty, all the time. Georgina wants to expose everyone, which seems to been her mission since day 1. Dan gets slapped, multiple times by multiple women and Nate continues to be completely useless and uber yummy. Things are pointing towards a heck of an interesting season.

In other Gossip Girl related news, Mrs. Ryan Reynolds is ready for kids! Well, not exactly.  Before her secret weekend wedding, Blake Lively spoke about having kids in the October Issue of Allure magazine. "I've always wanted a big family," said Lively, jokingly adding that she would love at least 30 kids. With that in mind, it looks like a busy future for the newlyweds.

As she gears up for her final season of Gossip Girl, the 26 year old Leighton Meester graced the cover of Octobers installment of Cosmopolitan UK. "It’s good that we’re going out on a high note, but I’m ready to move on. It’ll probably be a challenge, for a time, to fight against that character – I won’t play an overprivileged girl any time soon! But I’ll never forget Gossip Girl." said Meester. I'm sure whatever she has in store next, will be just as delightful as her character, Blair Waldorf.

And if there isn't enough drama on the Upper East Side, Nightingale-Bamford School in Manhattan, which was used as Constance High School in Gossip Girl, got hit with a sex scandal this weekend. Jonathan Fuller, a 55-year old science  teacher at the all girls school was suspended after news came out that he had an affair with a previous student that is now 18 or 19 years old. According to businessinsider.com Fuller was highly praised by the students. Parents pay a little over $40,000 for students to attend. Just when you thought Gossip Girl was juicy, reality bites back!
